I love fics that tell about how they fall in love - especially if there's a lot of (slightly awkward-in-denial) UST as well lol I wish I had the time, because then I would write it! I might do it anyway... OTL ><

Okay, this is the anon who said she would write it if she had the time... well, I started writing it even though I really shouldn't OTL I fail. And I want to apologize beforehand if this is not what OP wanted... I kind of got an idea that wouldn't leave me alone, and well, then it kind of went wrong from there >< It's also been a while since I've written anything so yeah... and I'm really tired (because it's late D: ) so I'm sorry if it's full of typos etc

“You did WHAT?” England hissed and pushed the American away, staring at the broken panel. “You moron! I can’t believe you fucking broke the thing!”
“Hey, chillax! It’s not like I did it on purpose. Besides, I’m a Hero - I’ll get us out of here!” He gave England a thumbs up and grinned his “I’m-a-Hero”-smile.
“And how on earth are you going to do that?” England could feel the anger surge through his veins, a clear sign that he was at the end of his patience. “I’m sure we’re the last ones left in this stupid building, so it’s not like someone is going to walk by and help us out of this damn lift, and now you even broke the control-panel!”
America looked around for a while, brows furrowed in concentration, his face lit up as he spotted something in the ceiling.
“There’s a trapdoor in the ceiling, Eyebrows!”
“Don’t call me tha- wait, there is?” England looked up. America was right; there was a small trapdoor in the ceiling right above his head.

“I told you I would get us out of here. I’m such an awesome hero!” America placed his bag on the floor and removed his jacket. “Okay, so the plan is this; I’ll lift you up so you can stand on my shoulders and then you’ll open the trapdoor, got it

He quickly lifted his other leg, placing another knee on America’s other shoulder, but to England own horror this only worsened their situation. The sandy-haired man was now sitting on the other’s shoulders, a knee on either side of his head. He could even feel how the younger nation’s glasses were digging into his thighs… America’s face was now completely buried in his crotch

It was America who finally decided to break the silence. “Well, even though you’re scrawny it’s not exactly comfortable to have you standing on top of me, ya know

Definitely not a fail.

Ahah, this is fun. The two of them should really think things through more clearly before attempting them... Nice storyline though, can't wait for more :D

This is awesome!! I lol'd many times druing this, particularly at the spectacularly failstatic team they make; good god, they can't even get out of a lift, how cna these two be leading us?XD
I have huge amounts of love for the fact that nobody has gone into inner monologue about the other's beauty and their own seekrit feelings or anything...they're blushing because of social awkwardness and not romantic embarassment. In short: I'm loving this because I really can believe these two hadn't thought about the other like that before and I know they're gonna get together. It makes it much funnier and refreshing from all those "200 years of pent-up UST and feelings" fics out there Also, the fact that they're behaving like manry menXD
“Yeah, I’m all right. But it wasn’t exactly a nice experience. Let’s not do that again… ”
For some reason, my favourite line of the fic. I could totally picture America's face all serious saying thisXDXDXD

I like established relationship fics, but I absolutely love when a story tells how two people came together...I'm not the only one, am I?
write it for me, please anon? (pretty please with a cherry on top?)
bonus: if it took someone else to push them together: ie mistletoe, a bet, one of France's schemes, an alliance between their countries
