The Will To Power “...the will to grow, spread, seize, become predominant - not from any morality or immorality but because it is living and because life simply is will to power...” - Paraphrased from the works of Friedrich Nietzsche

Wow. I can only imagine how that hurt American anons, considering I'm not one of them and I felt a big spark of anger there. Poor Washington! I don't know what England can do to reconnect with America after killing him... I'm really interested, please continue! will we be seeing what the other losers of the war (mainly France, but also Spain and Prussia) are up to?
and anon just realized that maybe the French Revolution won't happen, or won't happen like it did; nor will Spain's colonies declare independence either. This fill has the potential to be epic!

"He who permits himself to tell a lie once, finds it much easier to do it a second and third time....he tells lies without attending to it, and truths without the world's believing him. This falsehood of tongue leads to that of the heart, and in time depraves all its good dispositions." -Thomas Jefferson ***How odd that such a normally cheerful room could seem so empty when one was unused to sitting in it alone. The blond gentleman shifted in his armchair, watching the tranquil country landscape from the room‘s single window. The embodiment of the Kingdom of Great Britain had grown used to the constant company of the house’s lively inhabitant while visiting. Arthur had always patiently borne the chatting, laughing, and shouting for as long as possible before bringing his young charge back into line. It was with dark humour that he realised how much he missed it, now that there was a chance that he’d never hear it again
( ... )
So far the England in my head is still very Imperialistic!Conquering!Ambitious!, but because he has a soft spot a mile wide for America he can still be redeemed.
And America.....;_; He will be needing many huggles.
There will be more on how the rest of Europe as well as how exactly the other colonies are affected, prolly won’t go in-depth till the third part. Writer!Anon is proud because this is the first story she has actually planned out that far.
But Anon was right about France and the Spanish colonies’ revolutions. There was also the Irish whose rebellion in the 18th century was influenced by their success. Then Australia only became a major center to deport criminals after the Revolution, as before they had been sent to America.
Also, no French Revolution? = No Napoleonic Wars = No dissolution of the Holy Roman Empire I think hardcore HRE/Ita shippers just started cheering for Iggy.

F5!!!!! Oh god. I've wanted a fic like this for a while, but I'm nowhere near skilled enough to think through all of the changes a failed rebellion might have caused the world, so I've never attempted to write one.
PROPS, anon. mad props. Please update soon. Also, you've put images of a fully-grown HRE/Ludwig in the black cape and the hat. That there is sexy, anon.
captch says "irresponsible dummy" - I guess it doesn't like the fact that I'm reading the kinkmeme instead of doing homework...

F5ing LIKE A LOON
I love this fic to pieces. Arthur's mixed voice of condescending paternalistic and loving feelings is perfect, anon. I love that, nevertheles,s he is not holding back on his punishment, executing everyone and planning to restrict liberties, tax like crazy (um, Arthur, you might wanna change policies since that was what started the whole mes sin the first place...) and all that. I can't wait to see the first real interaction between them when he opens the door to that room!
Also, this anon is very very happy to know that we'll be seeing Europe, no independant colonies for the time being, and that you have all this planned out. No French Revolution intrigues this anon, because the unrest was there and wonders how Francis will take care of it...and HRE!! I had forgotten about that! What will Napoleon be, now? And seeing that HRE won't die...I'm worried that another, unexpected nation(s) will. Specially now that England has reaserted his power...

I love this part; you have England's voice pitch-perfect, and the mention of America screaming it the background is creepy enough to make the whole thing a little uncomfortable.

I'm curious to see how you're going to accomplish that. As of now, I can't really see things going back the way they were between them when America was a baby colony. At best, I think Al would eventually settle down and behave himself like a "good little colony," but with no real warmth toward England.

*-* I am a terribel person for liking this. And I have an aweful sinking feeling going on. T^T Oh dear. So very very worried.
There was something like this on FF.net, only it was more from Canada's POV and ultimately led to Rebel!Canada. I thought this was the same on for a sec. XD
I'm happy that Iggy is at least partially sorry about what he did. *proceeds to pray he figures out he's being a giant douche*
Captcha: to lockable. *stutters incoherently and punches Captcha*
Dammit >-<;; You have me crying tears of anger already! DXXX MY COUNTRY! How... I just no! I can't even like... ;3; No! I don't want my country to be England's lapdog D; *sobs* Well, this is really an interesting subject ;=; and it's written very very well ^-^ I'm very interested in seeing how the rest of the world changes. No American Revolution? No other countries gain the confidence to rebel. I don't even think France would have had their revolution since it started right after the American Revolution. The shining star in this is totally HRE!German, though :'D
ReCaptcha; "focussed segregation" I don't think Captcha likes the idea of the USA and all those other controlled countries not rebelling either P=
