Based off this thought I had: "Alfred was already broken--did Arthur have to step on the pieces as he walked out?"

Basically, Arthur dumps Alfred. Cruelly. Make him a little bastard. CRUSH America.

Bonus: They fuck [UKUS and USUK style] the night before the break-up. Arthur dumps him in the morning afterwards when Alfred is cuddling up to him.
