Hum... I was looking for some angst... something that explore the Revolutionary War, but from US POV. We all know that England was hurt about what happened... but why did US do it?
My request is: Anon, write something that explore the reasons that US did the revolution... but not using the so-known reasons (wanting UK to see him as an equal, confused about his feelings, etc). I want something that shows that US was really upset, and wanted independence because Arthur's attitudes weren't the same when he was a kid.
Bonus if: - They argue pretty bad, with US crying in the end because he starts to remember the past that he wanted so bad to forget - Flashbacks that shows that England really was an idiot, that he was suffocating US - Nowadays!UK feeling really bad, and asking for advice (France or Japan would be lovely, but I don't mind if it's another nation ^^ )

I second this because a lot of people seem to forget that revolution was never America`s first option. The colonies really tried to patch things up with the British multiple times... It was King George who declared them in rebellion, and even then people were torn over whether or not to try for independence.
And let`s not forget the GUTS it took to stand up to the British Empire in the first place, all by himself!!
