Randoms try to sabotage USUK, US refuses to be treated that way

So there's been... a few prompts where random nations (France, the rest of the UK, whatever) try to sabotage USUK or make America prove himself to be 'allowed' to love England. So I'm asking for a twist on this.
England's friends/family/fairies try to put America through the ringer. America talks to England about this unfair treatment, and when England refuses to intervene, America throws up his hands and says, "I'm not going to be treated this way. I'm not going to apologize for having a Revolution or being independent, and I'm not going to be put through game show antics to to 'allowed' to be with you." And then he walks away.
Now England actually has to act like an adult, come to terms with his and America's relationship, and put the meddlers in their place. Maybe he wins America back when he makes it clear that no one elese decides if either of them is 'worthy' to be with the other, or maybe they just find some sort of respect and equal ground and don't get back together.

OP, I love this prompt, but I've never seen any of the prompts you mentioned. Could you maybe link me one or two so I can get a better idea of what you're talking about? I'm...sort of considering filling. I'm really busy right now and this is a great big maybe, but I'm thinking about it.

Aaaand more than two years later, potential filler arrives.
I can't promise that I'll fill this frequently if I take this on, but, well, I REEEALLY want to take a stab at this. Seriously. There can never be enough 'tired of putting up with the abuse that comes with dating England'!America. Ever. So, uh, yeah.
“Peh,” Ireland spat. “Af’er th’ Secon’ World War, England didn’ even think, for more’n two bloody seconds, that he deserved better!” She frowned, shooting a rather venomous look at anyone who dared oppose her point of view. “I don’ think America’s changed at all! For all we know, he’s plannin’ on how he can hurt England next, an’ if we don’ stop it now, England’ll be hurt worse than before
( ... )
First reaction: Holy shit, someone's really filling this? No, you definitely didn't hear an excited squeal just then. ... Shut up.
Also, my god, your Japan is insightful. I mean, the jealousy thing wouldn't be too hard to miss, but this? It would not be kind to split them up, not when England-san has finally found a place in his heart for America-san that is neither too large nor too small. Damn, Japan, why so awesome? <3
And I'd feel sorry for sick!America, but the (sort of well-intentioned) bullshit that's forthcoming is about to suck much worse. OTL
... This is so not important, but I kind of want to see Scotland onscreen and Australia as drinking buddies, even if it's even only for a few seconds. (Wonder if they'd be devious enough to lure England out drinking to "convince" England how bad America is for him or try to break them up, or if that's not aggressive enough for them? Hm...)
Hey there, anon! I'm absolutely thrilled that someone's not only reading this, but commenting. Also thrilled that you like it!!
And thanks. ^^ I love insightful Japan, because, well, he really is insightful, isn't he? And even in canon, he's the character that people interact with the most, and since he's smart, it always makes sense to me that he'd be able to piece things together pretty well, and figure people out down to their genetic code. xD
I, personally, love Sick!America perhaps just a smidge too much, but I agree. He is headed for some reeeally suckish times. ;.;
And... Scotland and Australia as drinking buddies. I am tempt.

:D There are probably more people reading this who are too shy to comment, too. I used to be one. >_>
Yeah, I kind of suspect Japan is good at figuring people out, even if he doesn't always speak up about it out of politeness. ... Hopefully he doesn't base too much on his understanding of people from 2D dating sims or something. He seems to smart for that, but he also seems like the kind of guy to wish people and romance were that simple in real life.
I wonder if Canada or Australia will take pity on him a little, eventually? I bet the guilt gets to Canada, at least, if only in the form of him being extra nice to sick!America or something. Somehow I think Australia will take his fun where he can get it as long as he doesn't feel too guilty. LOL
*tempts you more?*
You can tell I put this on comment notifications. Kink meme comments on the bus ftw? LOL

Ah, well, that's understandable. I always feel guilty when I don't comment now, but before I started writing for the meme, I never commented. ^^;
That makes sense. May I add that to my headcanons? I'm afraid I don't have many for Japan but my America list is overflowing...
That... Why must you tempt me so?! Nah, kidding, I actually really like the input, since (although I have the general idea) some details are sorta fuzzy. Besides, that's too good of a bro moment to pass up and Australia is just... awesome. xD
Ah, the Kink Meme takes forever to update. I've been waiting like almost 24 hours to see if one I wrote for a different prompt even uploaded, since I didn't post the quick-link to the fills list... *sigh* So, uh, if this doesn't sound too weird, how do you put on comment notifications? I have a livejournal account... but, uh, I don't know how to do much with it...
The meme will often not seem to be updated if you're not logged in.
Next to the link hyperlink, there is a button with a pin-tack on it. It tells Livejournal you want to track a thread. If you only have a free account, you're only allowed to track a whole entry. F5 or reloading while logged in might be easier.

Wow, I like the story already. I didn't even know this prompt existed before! Can't wait to see what crazy shenanigans England's friends and family get up to. I bet they'll be surprised to see America's mature reaction, especially if he's tired cranky from being sick. (Mature as in being able to realize his life isn't a reality show where he's competing to earn the right to be with someone, I mean. People put up with that in real life way too often. :/)
Oh yeah! I'm curious. Do Scotland, Ireland, North Ireland, and Wales all consider themselves England's siblings? I'm getting that vibe, but I dunno.
Also, I feel dumb because I didn't know what an A!A or OP were. And I still dunno what OTL is. LOL
