Japan/China-It's always the same Rabbit, in the same Moon

Well anon has been doing some investigating (Since studying and homework isn't nearly as important to her as it should be), and noticed a big fatty-bo-batty absence of Kiku/Yao. That ain't right...
Anon would like to see modern day Japan, awkwardly trying to spend more time with China, realizing that despite the past (And present) turmoil between them, he does deeply care about him and wants to make things right... -...and that's when things get complicated, as his internal brotherly feelings gradually develop into desire. However while Kiku is trying like hell to gain Yao's trust again, China is having trouble accepting his sincerity(There are still many anti-Japanese demonstrations in the PRC) and believes Japan's intentions are only motivated by his government's demands.
-Angsty or Happy Ending. YOU DECIDE!
Bonus: Mention of the 'Treaty of Peace and Friendship between Japan and the People's Republic of China'. And perhaps its 30-year anniversary celebrated in 2008. Bonus: If anyone is bold enough to turn this emotional mess
