Parental incest USUK // Human AU anonymous April 1 2010, 03:50:22 UTC
I've seen a lot of people refer to England as America's dad, so...

Human AU. Arthur IS Alfred's father AND his lover. High schooler Alfred seduced his father and is totally obsessed with him. Arthur doesn't want anybody else either, but feels major guilt issues.

Alfred's twin, Matthew, happens upon them having sex. Cue REAL "OMGHOLYSHITmyDADandmyBROTHERarefucking" TRAUMA.

Bonuses...
1. Alfred is incredibly popular at school and could have anybody he wanted. He still wants his dad.
2. They switch positions, but Matt surprises them when Arthur is topping and he thinks he's taking advantage of Alfred.
3. Matt is confused, horrified, traumatised, angsty, angry and turned on by it (to his further confusion, horror, trauma, angst and anger)
4. Include Francisanybody else you want, however you want: Arthur's coleagues, the boys' friends, teachers, bosses, ex-lovers, the authorities...

This was amazing, in its own little twisted ways. And I wasn't even supposed to feel this giddy reading all of this, but I was. And just like the first commenter anon up there, I thought that you were the same anon as that US/UK brother incest fill too.

It was written so beautifully. There's too many guilty pleasures, too many mysteriousness and my heart clenches for Mattie. Poor him, walking in on his daddy and brother. ;3;

I would love to comment more, but my brain is currently having a high over this, which is wrong and right at the same time. asdgadfg, my moral, where has it gone too?

Love this so goddamn much. ♥

Captcha says: memorial savin. Oh shit, yes, Captcha! I will do as thee says and saving this fill like mad! ^^7

That is so sad! Alfred and Arthur wanting Matthew gone, when he wants the same... It's too sad...

Well done, Anon.

Oh my God, anon. This fill is simply heartbreaking!! I love your view of the human psychology and how there were not much dialogue between Arthur and Matthew to communicate a sense of wrongness in the home.

And the way you delivered everything was absolutely perfect! The ending itself was left ambiguous and soul-drained.

I don't think this fill could have been in better hands! Thank you so much!

I am absolutely breathless with how utterly perfect this was, authoranon. The characterizations are so thick with layers and depth it's impossible to pin them down. The psychology of it is also astoundingly believable; the way all three of them reflect upon the theme of incest is heartbreaking and complex, but ultimately oddly realistic ( ... )

Even the end is a work of art, with Matt finally out to maybe obtain happiness through forgetting (though he's as damaged as everyone else is), and Alfred being "left alone" metaphorically, having to loose things like adults just to preserve his little fantasy, and Arthur missing in action, run away because of his weakness and incapacity to deal directly with himself and his problems. Also, it fascinated me that Alfred apparently desires to erase himself and his father from normal life; if his brother forgets them and their relationship, it's like it doesn't happen and nothing/nobody cna compromise it. That's strangely endearing and naive and also destructive and selfish, and so very him ( ... )

Ouch...ouch...i'm rendered speechless...the one thing that stand out starkly in the ending is...how likely can Matthew's departure severe the 'relationship' between Arthur and Alfred? Alfred seems to want Arthur more to fill in the absence of his brother, but Arthur seems to realise the wrongness to another notch, and depending on his decision and resolve...hmm...i'm glad that Matthew gets a way out, in the end...

Very powerful, the way povs are written...this is really wonderfully written.

"When I was little, I would get out of bed in the middle of the night and stand outside Dad's door. I was afraid of the dark and being in the darkened hallway made me even more afraid. But, I was more afraid to wake him up, and see his not-angry-but-not-caring eyes asking me "What do you want?" I waited outside Dad's door with silent tears trickling into my mouth, not breathing."

;_; THAT WAS TOTALLY ME

So I am aware that there is already an excellent fill. But my muse hit me and then I just had to write it. Hope noone minds reading another.

His twin brother's door is left slightly ajar one time too many when Matthew gets up to take a leak in the middle of the night, and there is nowhere else he thinks Alfred could possibly be, so he finally plucks up his courage to check their father's room. Arthur's door is also hastily closed, so Matthew cautiously pushes it open.

The room is lit only by a dim bedside lamp, but Matthew sees the figures moving on the bed clearly enough. Both of them are completely naked, and Arthur is on top of Alfred. From his vantage point, he can clearly see that Arthur is in Alfred. His father in his brother ( ... )

The twins had been adopted from an orphanage by a man who had told them that he was their real father - and they his biological sons. Their father's house was large and old, and empty save for the three of them. Alfred's surprised shout at the interior of the house echoed all around the gloomy hallways and made Matthew jump. The orphanage was filled twenty-four hours a day with screaming children, but the house was so quiet even the normal volume of their voices seemed to rattle the furniture. Their rooms upstairs would have housed a dozen children at the orphanage, but there was only one four poster bed in each, complete with voiles that fluttered in the breeze from the half-open windows. When Arthur said that they each had one of those rooms, they had unanimously asked to sleep in the same room. (Once Alfred had gotten used to the chiming of the grandfather clock and the incessant groaning of the walls at night, he would move out, eager to claim a room of his own ( ... )

Thinking back on it, they were extremely lucky not to have gotten seriously injured any of the times they played by themselves. It was for another reason that Arthur's study had been disturbed just once in their childhood. Alfred had wanted a proper judge to declare that his artwork was better than Matthew's. Matthew had tried to stop him, of course, but when Alfred starting pounding a tiny fist on the heavy door, he had scampered away to watch from out of sight. Arthur was at first almost visibly worried, wanting to know if something had happened to Matthew. He turned angry at Alfred's explanation, chiding him sternly. He leaned over to slap Alfred's wrist, lightly, but even so, Alfred started bawling. At Arthur's harshly spoken, "Be quiet," he started wailing. Arthur had picked him up and carried him down the corridor, past Matthew who ducked, and locked him up in the outermost room in the house. Arthur returned and slammed the door to his study, and until he emerged again, Alfred wasn't let out even hours and hours after he had ( ... )

Part 3 anonymous April 20 2010, 18:07:49 UTC
Alfred's memories of before Arthur came were fuzzy, but he remembered that Arthur was not actually the first to adopt Alfred out of the orphanage. There had been one family before him who had come to look at the children and then said that Alfred was just what they wanted. When Alfred was told the news, he was overjoyed, because there was a miniature celebration for every child who was adopted, and it meant that he had been chosen over all the other children in the orphanage. He was a little sad that he would be separated from Matthew, but despite being biological brothers, they had actually very little sense of being so. The orphanage had dozens of children, and all of them were treated in the exact same manner. The brothers' temperaments were so different that they played with others as often as they played with each other ( ... )
