Iron Curtained East getting the ever loving shit beaten out of him on a daily basis by Russia would be awesome. The more severe the better. Whipping, gore, rape, pointless errands, dehumanization... you name it.
SUPER BONUS) East ending up hating his brother because he was on the "good side".

Fifteen years later saw the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Germany stood, tired but healthy and with Veneziano hanging off his arm. Both were scouring the crowds for a certain shock of platinum hair, for two sharp red eyes, for that familiar face.
When those features finally did appear, they were hollow and exhausted, haunted, empty, shells of the pride that had once made Prussia so imposing. He was limping, one arm in a sling and the other bandaged from the tips of his fingers all the way to his throat, visible above the heavy sweater he wore. His face was half covered, a medical eyepatch over one red eye and gauze wrapped around his head, grape-colored bruises speckling the little white skin still visible.
But his eyesItaly acted first, practically sprinting over to where the Prussian stood, leaning against a building and out of the mess of falling cement. Germany, from where he stood, could see the tired, broken smile on his brother's face as Italy stopped in front of him, obviously debating whether or not to hug him. Common

Seriously authornon, this is more than just okay - it is absolutely fantastic! That last line hurt. Oh poor Gilbert and Ludwig!
Is authornon considering writing some more on this, if it's not too much to ask? I am dying to know how Germany +others would react to jaded, bitter Gibert. :3

Your title can be taken in many many ways. I love the title! It can refer to Russia (duh) or Prussia (his brother truly didn't deserve that!) or to Germany (in Prussia's viewpoint) or even to the Allies. The fact that France would take over Prussia's role as brother (since in WWI France blamed EVERYTHING on Germany) when he wasn't there made me go awwww...thank god he cant talk to France or that would totes end.
The fact that USSR was drunk made me think that he himself was not in the best of shape mentally. Not a good reason to harm someone that brutally but still.

Oh lol, I totally didn't even go into perspective on that...thanks, man! I'd have never thought that up myself :'D And IKR? Oh...damn, that's true...>< but thank you :)
I'm so terribly thrilled that you filled this, anon! It comes up in my mind every so often.
I loved it perfectly. Oh my yes... East's scathing bitterness is so very wonderful and his brother's reaction... It makes me want to giggle evilly and breaks my heart at the same time.
