"that the United States had no closer friend and ally than the United Kingdom, and how it was a bond that lasted for generations and across party lines"
I'd like to see something based around the UK election mess with a side order of USUK fluff based around the above article.

First let me apologize for two things: this is my first ever fill request and Hetalia fic, so please abandon any (good) expectations you had, and I know jack $%#@ about British politics. So please please please correct me if I goof something up!! >_< Here it goes

I like it so far! We had appearances by boss (x2, one by phone) and a citizen; I love nation-citizen interaction, particularly when it's set nowadays and the citizens talk about politics as if they were talking to a normal human, but which consists of gossip and major emotional talk for the nationXD I'm eager to know what America's doing there, go on, anon!
Really, I think this adorable, so don't apologize. I love America being sweet to Iggy. I love themmmmmmm. And this was a good, quick look at the election and such; you seemed to have done your reasearch. I liked it.

It's not a fail :D I like your America, he's adorable and cute, trying to show Iggy that he cares about him. Very sweet.<33333 And I love that England relaxes at America's presence. It's good to see them so domestic like this~
Don't worry about politics. This anon thinks you handle it just fine, love your flufffffff!

Absolutely not fail. I happened to be in touring around London during that time and I was in a rented flat when my mum (who actually knows I'm a giant US/UK fan but cannot understand my logic) told me about that phone call and I nearly broke a vase in my excitement. XD I'm really glad that someone filled this AND used that particular incident because it's a major event for US/UK-ers. It's like... their nth making-up session. XD
I like the way you did it as well and you included elements I hadn't expected to see there, like the driver and the really sweet massage and England being overworked and things. They just made everything much sweeter. :)
