UK/US - sexing up the secretary/aide/intern, business AU

England's a business executive/lawyer/whatever. He's swamped with work all the time, always stressed and piling up the overtime. All of his subordinates think of him as a demanding, tea-and/or-ale-guzzling, eyebrowed terror.
Then his personal life goes to shit: his significant other (anyone) has enough of playing second fiddle to England's job and having to put up with his bad temper and no sex, decides to break things off and take up with someone new. Choice words like "old", "grumpy", and "boring" are said in in the messy separation.
England, pissed off and wanting to prove his ex wrong (and maybe he's just at the breaking point), ends up seducing and fucking his 19ish/early 20s secretary/aide/intern America over his desk when the latter comes in with a letter of resignation.
...The rest is up to anon.
Implied or explicit smut please! And desk sex is a must, with England topping!

Oh hey, you're back! Badass. :D
I have to admit, I've never seen FrUK written like this before; I mean, it's usually a very dysfunctional, "special" dynamic, true. But this is basically a very realistic "our marriage is falling apart around us" scenario, and it makes me feel sorry for both of them; it's kind of nice to see no real villain. Because hey, relationships take two people, and they usually end because of reasons other than outright abuse of the "good" partner by the "bad" partner". Real life is not that simple, and I'm always happy to see fiction that reflects real life like that. :Db
... You know, I kind of want to see a little more of what's going on at home with these buys, but that's just the problem, isn't it? Their lives barely intersect at all.
And poor Alfred, walking in on that argument his first day. *facepalm* Can't wait to read more of this one, and I'm a little too excited by the prospect of desk sex. And by how you're going to get there, story-wise. *punches an excited fist to the sky :D*

Incredibly late response is incredibly late. orz
Yeah, I have to admit, I don't think this is at all how I would write FrUk in the canon universe, but for the purposes of the AU, it's what feels right to me. And I am planning to have a bit more interaction between the two in future parts. The main problem with portraying their relationship and how it works (or worked) is that, as you said, there's almost no connection anymore. For instance, I just realized that Francis has said a total of one line on-screen so far. Well, that'll be somewhat remedied in the future, although Arthur may end up wishing it wasn't.

I love love love this fill :D Francis and Arthur's relationship is so realistic and heartbreaking, especially since neither one is really at fault there. Francis has to put up with a lot ;_;
Captcha: has xmas. I don't think they'll last that long, Captcha :(

Oooh, an update! And an update packed with substance, no less! :D
As others have said, the way you handle the FrUK relationship breakdown is perfect. I love Francis, and I hate when, in USUK fills, people villainize him. His frustration is so understandable here, and definitely realistic.
Your characterizations and POV are perfect, as well. I usually find Alfred's stupidity slightly adorable, but seeing it from the way you write Arthur's perspective makes me think he's really annoying! xD
As sad as I am for Francis and Arthur, can't say that I'm not ridiculously excited for desk sex! This fill promises to be an awesome ride, too! ^^

Author!anon is responding very late. orz
Thank you! I'm glad the POV is working for you! I really enjoy writing things from Arthur's persepective. I'm really not sure why that is. As for Alfred's stupidity, I think it's both! I recognize that he's annoying to other characters, but I really love him myself!
Yeah, I feel bad for torturing the two of them like this, but hey, it's for the sake of hot desk sex. So I don't feel all that bad. XD

This is so awesome! I hope you continue this fill because it's really a pleasure to read a fic where no one is a villain. Especially in AU Hetalia fics.
