Next morning, the anesthesia and medicine had worn off so Alfred woke up to a sore body. He could feel his legs now but trying to move them proved painful so he decided that maybe the controller could be useful for things other than playing after all. Reaching for it he pushed a button and the bed slowly readjusted its position until Alfred was sitting

But he couldn’t. As soon as the doctor saw him he led him to his patient room where Alfred met him with an impossible grin, Matthew and Feliciano also seemed happy with his presence though he deemed Francis smile as dangerous for some reason

Or maybe not. As all his duties in the hospital had been reassigned he found himself in Alfred’s room more often. But the more they spent time together, the more Arthur started to doubt this will work

Ooo, why have I not seen this story before? Watching Arthur and Alfred's relationship develop <3 And haha, sneaky Kiku for tricking Arthur like that.
I hope this doesn't sound too odd but probably one of the reasons I didn't check out this story sooner was that there was just something about the way it was worded on the fills page put me off clicking it. Maybe try changing that?
