Obviously not the first anon who offered to fill. I decided to change up the usual family dynamic of FACE, but you'll see when you read! Hope you enjoy!

To be fair to the Russian man, they weren't from him this time. They'd gotten a call near the end of their shift about a domestic disturbance on Maple Street. Apparently the neighbors had heard yelling, followed by screaming, and then an eerie silence. They'd rushed over, both siulently praying that one or both of the participants wasn't dead. They'd arrived on the scene to see the door ajar, the apartment trashed, and a young woman lying limp on the floor

"Jones, what the hell happened to you?" Came a voice from across the locker room. It was the squad commander, Arthur Kirkland. Who also happened to be Alfred's annoyingly protective older half-brother.
"It'll all in my report, commander." He said cheerfully, loosening his tie and opening the door to his locker. Arthur merely huffed and glared at him.
"So it wasn't Braginsky this time?" He asked, eyes narrowing suspiciously. If he'd been lying, Alfred might have been nervous. Arthur was probably the best at telling when a person was lying in the whole department. Especially when it came to Alfred, their older brother Francis, who was a police dispatcher, and their younger brother, Matthew, who worked as a legal assistant at the DA's office. (Their dad got around.) He was like a human lie detector.
"Nope, this was all legit. The fucking commie didn't even get a punch in." He said proudly.
"So I am to assume that you got one in on him?" He asked, eyes narrowing further and tone icy

They had their differences and their fights, but they were quite a very close-knit famiy when it came down to it. Being the children of a detective, they were sometimes left alone most of the day and into the night. They went through various babysitters and Arthur's mother Alice would watch them when she was in the city, but mostly Francis took care of them. When Sam Jones got promoted to Chief of Police when the boys were 14, 12, 9, and 7 they saw even less of him. But they didn't complain much, they were used to it

Ivan Braginsky crossed his legs and leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers and waiting for their commander to speak while his partner fidgeted excitedly beside him. The boy was so infuriatingly hyper all the time and sometimes it was all he could do not to reach over and grab him by his hair until he stopped his restless movement. But now was not the time, especially not considering the rather interesting coincidence of the two being both brothers and the sons of his boss

They both sat there for long moments, shell shocked and slack-jawed. Lovers? They, the two cops most notorious for hating eachother, had to go undercover as lovers!? It was just unreal! It literally couldn't be happening. And yet, looking at the completely serious face of their boss, they could see that it most certainly was and there was little to nothing they could do about it

This is a beautiful start... I hate begging, but please please please I need the next chapter like airrrrrrrrr
I love your setup for the FACE family. It's certainly creative and interesting and surprisingly believable. Love the relationship between Ivan and Alfred too, oh I am looking forward to seeing Alfred the lovebunny lol This is so going to go horribly wrong very soon XD

OMG, I can't wait to see Ivan and Alfred act "hopelessly in love" and the fun/crack that'll bring XD
Gotta wonder why the Gang Crime Unit would pick two of the most volatile partners to act as a couple though haha
