LOL...you and me both!
Glad you're still enjoying the fic!
Well...I've technically already de-anoned this on my own journal...I just have no plans to link to it other places at the present time like the main com or FF.net.
God, I love this fill too much, it's not healthy <3<3<3<3<3
Very believable resolution to Alaska lost. I like how America and Russia united as parents in front of him (asking the other with their eyes if it's ok to scold the kid, if they're doing it right, etc). Poor Alaska! I hope we get his apology...and then, Russia at America's! My, but that kid is an excellent manipulator, eh? The way he forced the situation so that America had to accept...and Russia certainly didn't protest, that makes me wonder if this particular trait isn't his ;)
"I have seen many of your messes in the past," Russia said, there was a mischievous glint in his eye. "I have cleaned up many of them myself. So if you do not want me there just say it there is no reason to lie. Aleksandr will understand."
Oh, Russia <3 He built a bridge, America! Will you cross? (I love how evident it is that Russia wants it hard)
"I will agree to behave myself if you will."
Yeah, right *snort* ...right? He's lying, right? I want some serious sexy times between them. Please
( ... )
Yeah I'm a little sad it's coming to an end myself but after almost a year it's time for it to end. Not sure about lots of side stories it might be fun but it would probably be a while as I've got so many other things I want to start when this one is finished...

Much love. MUCH LOVE!
I am so happy you updated! I almost missed this in the fill, and when I backtracked, man, I almost had a heart attack, thinking I would miss out on this awesome update!
Just much love for your Sasha. State OCs are always fun, and I really gravitate towards Alaska OC. And you, you just make Alaska even that more interesting and adorable.
I really hope for a happy ending for Sasha, to see both of his parents get together. Not only because I'm a big RxA fan, but I really want something good for the little guy. :)
I will work extra hard to keep an eye out for your next update, so I won't miss out on anything!
Fountain of Fire & Ice -- Part 17a

America flipped through the papers in the file he was putting together for his boss about what had been discussed at the meeting. It was pretty slim and he still had to add a write up at the end about how the meeting had been called short because of Sasha going missing but he'd deal with that later. His boss would understand, he liked Sasha. But there would probably be a few others out there that would look down on him for bringing his son to a meeting in the first place even if his son was like him and probably would eventually need to know how to interact with the rest of the world. And really this meeting wasn't any different then any other nation's meeting. They all tended to end in chaos. At least this time it wasn't because Switzerland waived a gun at the Secretary-General or Italy accidentally causing the fire alarms to go off because he was trying to make a five course meal in a tiny kitchen that wasn't designed for it

An hour later, deep in the middle of the store, surrounded by screaming and squealing children with his son looking intently at the stuffed animals, he was still wondering if he shouldn't have decided against this little trip. Russia was off somewhere, probably still staring in fascination at the giant spaceship made of Legos, and America had been dragged to this section by Sasha who seemed to intent on finding something. America wanted to open his mouth to remind Sasha of his promise but held back. He couldn't reprimand his son until he'd actually done something wrong

Then he turned his attention back into the story trying to see if he could spot Russia amongst the crowd. It should be easy since he stood taller then most people. Still he didn't see any sign of a wheat colored hair or the long pale colored scarf that was ever present. He tried to remember what colored coat Russia had been wearing but drew a blank

"Sasha..." America repeated in growing exasperation. "That sounds an awful lot like something someone who is supposed to be in trouble shouldn't be allowed to do

Man, this fic is so awesome, I love it <3
Sasha is so cute! I d'awwwed about the sunflower plush, and America is trying to hard and failing at keeping his distance...I'm also enjoying Russia's amusement and convenient 'washing my hands off this parent thing' on the excuse of not trampling on America's authority, lol. He's so cleverXD And Russia being fascinated by child space toys <3<3<3
That mention of America's seriousness was great. His glare when he realises Sasha gave his stupid cover up was awesome, it fits my headcanon to a 't'
