Oh lord, Maria is terrifying. I mean, I'm a protective older sister with a perpetually clueless little brother than women often take advantage of, so I get her feelings, and even I think Maria was kind of, well, bitchy. :'D

It's Seychelles by the sounds of it. From a remote African country/island and the name Angelique? I've only seen it applied to Seychelles. (I would have been sooo happy if Matt was married to fem!France or Belarus, though)

I love America/Ukraine, PrusHun and mail order bride fiascos much more than I despise Canada/Seychelles (I was like "Yes! Ukraine is with the correct NA twin! Now Matt just has to avoid Sey- ... Damnit Author!Anon!"), so I shall be stalking this fic like you wouldn't believe.
