Canada/Russia, established relationship

Between G8 meetings and nuclear agreements, Russia and Canada start dating. What I want to see is how they handle a relationship, how other countries react to them, all that, from the beginning. Sex is also very much appreciated.
Bonus: Russia and America are friends, especially after the cold war. Bonus2: Ukraine adores her brother-in-law, and talks more to him than to her brother.

1992, February: Their first date, predictably, was a hockey game, and it wasn’t even a date until Canada threw himself at Russia in triumph as the team they’re rooting for and kissed him full on the lips like nobody’s goddamn business, amid the wolf-whistles of the people in their section, fellow season-ticketers who they knew well, for humans

1992, October:He’s to visit Russia for a week and a half-an entire eleven days of Canada all to himself. Russia was sure that he hadn’t been more excited for anything, ever. He cleaned his house, ordered Canadian maple syrup, got the things for making pancakes, and hid his most of his vodka so Canada wouldn’t think his was a drunk. And he cleaned and made up a guest room, even though he hoped, almost desperately, that he and Canada would share his bed

December, 1992Canada spends Christmas Eve with France, and Christmas Day with America and England at England’s house. But on his way to England’s house, Canada calls Russia, speaking softly too him, wishing dearly that he had had the bravery to reveal the depth of his and Russia’s relationship to his family, even though the image of his boyfriend sitting at England’s table feels like something from a strange dream

Author's Note: Dear OP/ Dear readers/History notes about my headcanon

Dear OP: So, errrr, I just want to apologize in advance about not getting to the G8 meetings until 1997, when Russia joined the G7 and made it the G8. I know that this isn't going to be exactly to the letter of what you requested but I hope it will be in the spirit of it. I believe I will be hitting both of your bonuses, though, if I can figure out how to write Ukraine. Maybe even if I can't--what a feat! Love, your anon.
Dear everyone reading: I have complex headcanon. I was going to write it all out, starting in 1968, but OP asked for an established relationship, not the establishing of a relationship. So you'll be getting roughly seven years instead of a million billion.
December, 1991: USSR is disbanded, on the 26th the Russian Federation is founded. Headcanon says that this is the start of Canada and Russia's friendship. December, 1992: two year anniversary of Russia's switch to democracy and Canada and Russia's renewed relations.
Dear anon, you don't know how happy you just made me! I loved how they easily fit, how naturally they went from kissing to foreplaying to sex, and how sweetly they treat each other. I really really loved it! 'Been checking this prompt almost everyday since you said you'd fill it and I'm definitely not disappointed <3<3
Oh, and the prompt? They are just guidelines, you don't need to take them to heart. Just write whatever you feel like writing and I'm sure it'll be great! (and now that you said you'd post their establishing too, please direct me to the link when you do? I can't wait to read it!)

Well think of it as thanks for how happy seeing your request made me! X3 You've basically given me an excuse to headcanon all over the meme. Thanks for your lovely compliments!
It'll post a great big ol' obvious link here, and probably post it under an anything goes, too, and post it on the fills list thingy.

Awww, that was so cute! Canada is exactly like this in my headcnaon too...laid-back and nice, easy to be around but secretly impulsive and passionate (it runs in the family, eh). I loved the natural way in which he topped Russia, and Russia's easy acceptance and happiness. I'd have loved an establishing going into established relationship, actually; if you want, you can seek an "anything goes" and run with it? ^^
I'd have also loved to see Canada getting the courage to reveal his relationship, maybe have Russia appear on England's doorXD, or at least that it was discovered...because Papa Wolf England and protective old bro America make me giggle, and seeing England sputtering and America flip his shit is always wonderfulXD
Arthor!anon should be writing 1993, speaks instead!

I'll definitelly be writing it... I actually have three chapters written already! (as in my very first post regarding this request). Since when I'm done with this I'll likely be de-anoning, I'm sure that when I post the establishing prequel to this you'll be able to find it. xD
Oh, you'll see that! They don't know that Russia and Canada are dating, remember. :'D

1993, February It’s their first year anniversary, and the first time they’ve seen each other since the New Year. It should be a joyous reunion, and it is, but within minutes of reaching Canada’s house he’s sobbing. Russia hasn’t seen Canada like this before, not even when they parted ways so harshly in 1991, not even in 1968 when paranoia from the Cold War caused him to rip into Canada, using words against him as effectively as he had ever used the metal spigot he had taken from Germany’s house.
He holds his boyfriend close, tells him softly that he loves him, and asks, “Dorogoy, what is so wrong?”
Canada, his beautiful Canada, sobs his reply into his shirt which Russia runs his hands through the smaller nation’s hair. “Th-they tried to kill themselves, Vanya, my children!” he gasps, “My government failed them. I failed them

1993, AugustCanada likes to get his Christmas presents early. That’s why, in August, he and Russia are strolling down a street in Moscow’s shopping district. Canada wiffle-waffles over what to get for whom. He sends hand-written cards to all of the nations that he knows, and receives the same kind of cards back from Ukraine, Netherlands, France, and sometimes Cuba and North Italy. And he gets one from England every year, but never counts it: it is always America’s name on the card, or no name at all, a form card sent to less important nations by England’s secretary. Other nations send him form letters, too. It doesn’t hurt anymore

Russia tells him that yes, yes he does very dearly. And if France has any ill thoughts of their relationship after that, he keeps his own council as he plays host over the next few days. Russia has a place at the table, goes to see a ballet with them, and learns to make a Yule Log. At night they lay in France’s guest room, entwined, breathing the same air. They have the same conversation each of the three nights that they are there
