America/Russia or USUk Eating Disorder anonymous July 18 2010, 04:04:48 UTC
I've read a few bulimia fics, but I really really want to see a fic where America has anorexia and collapses at a world meeting, and all the nations find out about his eating disorder. And then Russia or England helps him get healthy again!

Hello, I’m sorry, I just had to reply to this review personally to thank you for the lovely review! I’m sorry to hear about your mom but don’t listen to her! Just make sure you’re healthy enough to run from the zombies unless you plan on tripping yourself to give your friends extra time to run, that’s what I plan on doing, lol.

And I made a USUK fan like Russia? I think my job here is done XD

To be honest, England didn’t realize they were meeting secretly, not just because he’s England and if he doesn’t want to see something he’ll just pretend he doesn’t, but because this is the Cold War Pair; they may have been fail!spies at times but overall they’re pretty good at keeping things under wraps.

And that line, I’ve been waiting to put that line in there because I wrote it near the beginning of the fill and was waiting for the perfect opportunity to add it in! I just wanted to point out that America used the nickname Iggy because it would hit harder home for the both of them.

And Protective Russia is going to try to choke a bitch. ( ... )

I just remembered about my request so I went to check and surprise surprise! I'm so happy someone filled it. Author Anon I really love the way you written the nations personalities.
Is it bad of me to want to see the personification of my country helpless for once lol? I also like that none of the nations want to admit anything is wrong with him at first, so they automatically assume some kind of natural disaster or attack. Great job so far! Please continue to update!!

He wasn’t very aware but he was awake so that was good enough for Russia who kept stroking his hair with his hand slipped into the blanket in an attempt to keep him stimulated enough to keep him awake. It was then that Canada thought it was a good idea to speak up.

“I called up everyone from the meeting while France and I were waiting for you guys to return.” He said. “And I was able to convince everyone it was his economy doing this to him. But that he’s going to need some personal days to get back on his feet. They believed it pretty easily, I don’t think they suspect a thing… at least I hope.”

“They accept it because it’s easier to hear then the truth; it’s what they want to hear. Not that one of us, let alone the strongest, most pigheaded of us, is weak enough to succumb to this“H-he’s not weak.” Canada stuttered, trying to defend his brother ( ... )

Oh man this is just gorgeous in an incredibly realistic and painful way.

Alfred is just breaking my heart in this already and there's a long, rough road ahead for him, for Russia and England and for us as the readers.

Can't wait to take that journey with them!

Alright, before this next part I just wanted to thank everyone for the reviews, they have been just so incredibly awesome and totally making these parts come out even quicker.

And I also wanted to explain something for this next part; my head canon says that that nations have a real house in the normal plain of existence but their house also connects to some ethereal plain where only nations can go. And where their country is on the world depicts where their house is in the neighborhood type place that is just theirs. I hope that made sense…

They ran for three blocks before the four stopped. It was no use trying to find America in the winding city streets. They came to halt and stopped in an alley way to talk without blocking the sidewalk.

“I can’t believe this.” England began, running a nervous hand through his hair. “Did he- did he really do this because of me“Oh, no, I’m sure that’s not the only reason.” France tried to reassure England. “This is a very complicated matter and we’ll only really know when we find America ( ... )

America ran for as long and hard as he could. When he couldn’t run anymore he walked. When he could barely walk he stumbled into an empty alley way. He made his way to the back of the alley, stumbling in his exhaustion. He couldn’t go back home, they’d be looking for him there so he decided to just settle down here until he got his breath back. He slumped against the filthy brick wall of the alley and slid down until he was sitting. America was behind some trashcans so he couldn’t be really seen by anyone walking on the sidewalk. He thought he was safe enough for now and decided that it would probably be a good idea to see if he could catch a nap. He closed his eyes and let his mind wander. A few minutes later, even with the exhaustion, he realized he couldn’t sleep. The insomnia was back ( ... )

asdfghjkl;' America D:

all these epic eating disorder fills keep reminding me that I still haven't started my own... and what I have to live up to. ;___; WHY ARE YOU PEOPLE SO GOOD.

ahem. I really like this fill, anon - I think you're doing a great job capturing just how distressed everyone is over America's state. I want to give him a big ol' hug too, since he's obviously not in a good place right now.

There are two things I need to work on: getting America and England to interact more and getting France and Canada out of there. Both I am slowly but surely working up to.Russia reappeared on America’s doorstep with said nation securely in his arms. The front door was unlocked and he let himself in only to be immediately pounced on by Canada ( ... )

Russia made his way to America’s bedroom; it wasn’t the first time he had been there so he had no trouble finding it. Although it was the first time he had seen it since the early 1900’s, their recent couplings had all been in hotel rooms and broom closets. When Russia finally got into the bedroom he laid America down on the bed and started removing the nearly unconscious nation’s shoes ( ... )

America gave up, but not without shooting his best glare at England, and drank the offending tea. It didn’t really taste like anything, which was good, and it was warm and settled nicely in his frozen stomach. He would have liked to hold up the cup himself but his arms were tangled in the blankets and he was shivering so much that he didn’t think he could. He was able to drink the entire first thermos before his stomach protested. It was full and he tried to tell England that but England thought that he was just being difficult ( ... )

There was a long, tense silence before France asked.

“So what do you think he is? Anorexic or bulimic?”

“We’ll have to ask him when he wakes up.” England answered.

That last bit pretty much sums up how little they know and how little they've noticed. T_T Sadly, that pretty much reflects how this stuff goes down in real life.
