I've read a few bulimia fics, but I really really want to see a fic where America has anorexia and collapses at a world meeting, and all the nations find out about his eating disorder. And then Russia or England helps him get healthy again!

The smell of blood instantly hit the other two nations, coppery and overpowering. The door opened wide enough for Russia and England to see America fully. He had shed his clothing down to only his boxers and was covered in blood and cuts and open wounds. His right hand was clenched tightly and a steady stream of blood was dripping from his fist. But with all the carnage and gore across his body his face was mostly clear and quite calm, if a bit pained. Most of this information was lost on the other two nations though, as they immediately panicked.
Russia grabbed America’s upper arms, to hold him, make sure he didn’t flee or hurt himself anymore. A bruising grip but he couldn’t seem to lighten it. America’s big, sky blue dead eyes looked up at him, dead yet still full of agony eyes. There were no glasses to hide them and Russia could clearly see the faint dusting of freckles smudged with drying blood. But his eyes, Russia always loved those eyes, so expressive and open and alive. Dead now. They were dead but they were moist, tears

Russia was making progress, the blood completely wiped clean from his face and hair and neck and shoulders. Those weren’t the too badly damages areas, just a few shallow cuts that had stopped bleeding but Russia was working his way down to the worst of the damage, the stomach and hips and thighs but also the forearms. The places where fat usually gathered and the place where most people took a razor blade to their skin

“W-what? But- but England said that I was getting fatter!”
“England,” Russia hissed under his breath. “He’s always been so particularly helpful. Why would you listen to him?”
America looked away and muttered something under his breath.
“What was that?” Russia asked, not quite hearing it but dreading the words he knew were coming.
“It’s the only way I can get England to love me.”
“You love England more than me?” Russia asked, trying to hide his growing anger.
“What? No!” America protested.
“Then why? I don’t care what you look like.” The older nation insisted, forgetting that he was cleaning America’s wounds and gripped the younger nation’s shoulders tightly, looking into his eyes with all the sincerity he could muster.
“I know, but I love him too and he-“
“So am I just your second choice then?” Russia interrupted, still trying to bite down his anger but at least it wasn’t directed at America. “Who you had to settle with because England couldn’t get off his goddamned high horse and stop calling you fat?”

Author's notes are in a separate comment box because I forgot to add them at the end of part 18 DX
So I just wanted point out that there are a few reasons why America is anorexic and why he hurt himself because the explanation up there about what happened and why is just the surface issue; the deeper ones will be in future parts but this is still was a pretty big step forward him!

This is actually believable because people can turn into such screw ups when they have daddy/mommy/family issues or abandonment prob. and since Arthur is the closes thing to a father (I am thoroughly convinced that Native America was only his mom for a short period of time and that she is a she) well we can see where Im going with this...

Oh, this part was painful to read. I... I don't even know what I should say. This just really made me feel for America.

This line. I had to stop reading for a moment. It's just quite a disturbing line, as was imagining it and yet for some reason, this was my favorite line in this update. It's probably because it's one of the most painful.
And America wanting to feel loved by England, just that feeling of wanting to be loved...oh, that really hit home to me.
With all that said, keep up with the story writer anon. It's wonderfully written.

That line was actually something I wrote while still writing part 16 and it's probably my favorite line in this update too (Besides Russia's monologue there which I had written out when I was on part 3 or something)
I'm also glad that I'm not the only one who has to stop reading for a moment when something like that happens during a really good fic.

Wow, there's seriously not a person in this story I don't feel deeply sorry for right now; despite the fact that England is blaming himself -- and that Russia is blaming him as well -- I don't feel like you've villainized any character, and that's rather difficult in this type of story. Despite the fact that eating disorders and the like are just more complicated than that in real life, it would be easy for an author or reader to point the finger at one person and view the situation in black-and-white and say, "Yeah, he caused this. This is all his fault!" I salute you for being a better writer than that, because you walked the fine line between the characters blaming each other or themselves and the author blaming someone in particular. Excellent job, seriously. :D

I'm glad that you don't think that I've blamed England too much! I was thinking that I might have been putting it all on his head a little too much. And oh, Russia, he is going to be blaming England, he is going to be blaming England hard. But eventually he will get over it because he's going to need England to help America~
I'm glad that my writing invoked that kind of response from you, it means I'm doing something right! I'm usually so apathetic to the characters I write about but when I'm reading something my empathy meter is dialed all the way up Which is why I can't read non-con/dub-con fics and don't even get me started on the Financial Crisis Gangbang, I wanted to throw up for so long after reading that

Oh god, I feel the same way about the Fill Which Must Not Be Named. And Bealtaine. :'D Gorgeous art in one, and gorgeous writing and characterization in the other, but that feeling like I'm being torn open from heart to gut while reading them? Not so much. Non-con is just too much for my tender sensibilities. OTL
Oh yes, please don't give the ending away; I want to draw out the anticipation and enjoy it a little longer. ;D Even though I say that, I'm reading every update the second I notice it. LOL So much for my self-control! XD

Don't even get me started on Bealtaine, I was reading that and I somehow made it all the way through but I was so angry. Those rape-happy S.O.B.s actually had to audacity to feel sorry for themselves after they freaking raped America. I don't care how traumatic it was for them, it was 865757895895x's more traumatic for America. And then the author had to go and make Russia the worst out of them. I put an author on my crap list when they make Russia a rapetruck. Then I remembered that the characters kind of had to be like this for the story but then I remembered that I didn't like the story to begin with >:/ .... Wow, I can't believe I just wrote all of that but I'm sure America would say it was justified XD

Oh god, it least it wasn't like in some of the other not-as-good gangbang sequels where basically of the nations were totally puzzled why America was horribly traumatized at being betrayed and raped by basically everyone he knew and loved (or might even *gasp* be angry enough to want revenge)! God, I despise rapetruck!Russia, but at least in Bealtaine he was kind of just out-of-control and unbalanced (somewhat mentally ill, really) to begin with, instead of just being a sadistic freak who raped and tortured people all the time for no reason. I see the latter way too often in fandom, and it pisses me off. (Bealtaine just outright traumatizes me, really. The betrayal aspect just as much as the rape, really. T_T) Ugh, but a hurt!Russia who's willing to lash out and hurt others in the worst possible way is still horribly depressing, because nothing can justify what he or any of the others did. This line. I had to stop reading for a moment. It's just quite a disturbing line, as was imagining it and yet for some reason, this was my favorite line in this update. It's probably because it's one of the most painful.
And America wanting to feel loved by England, just that feeling of wanting to be loved...oh, that really hit home to me.
With all that said, keep up with the story writer anon. It's wonderfully written.
