Um, this is not actually writer!anon, I'm the other anon that posted before x_x I just really wanted to fill this...so I hope this doesn't throw off writer!anon, please post your fill, I'm still dying to read it! Just think of this as an appetizer!fill until writer!anon is ready.Korea sat at his table pensively, staring out the window to a gray spring day in Seoul. He held a newspaper in his hand, the only thing he had bothered to read were the casualties of that boat that had sunk so suddenly. Forty six of his people dead and a ship destroyed. Naturally his first reaction was to blame North Korea, it had been his torpedo after all, even if all he continued to do was deny it. The boy sighed, likening his frustration to the air being forced out of his lungs. They had been doing okay for awhile, only to have relations crumble yet again

China closed the door and took notice of the unusual calm, he was startled to see Korea actually sitting quietly at the table, a glazed look in his eyes. It was so rare to find anything other than cheerful energy in the Korean's face, seeing how glum he looked filled China with pity. He sat across from him

Why had things worked out in such a horrible way? All Korea had wanted was some sympathy. His people had just been slaughtered, he was fighting with his brother again, and he had foolishly hoped China would be the one to comfort him. Maybe for once Korea had been wrong, he should have known his former caretaker would have just taken North's side like he always did. Through blurry eyes he grabbed the door to the living room so he could leave, but his other hand was suddenly pulled back

Korea drew a few shaky breaths, and watched as China slowly smiled, a happy, loving smile, not the uneasy grimace he usually wore. Korea, who never needed any convincing to conclude that the older nation liked him, was quite overjoyed to have an actual confirmation of his affection. He buried himself back into China, clutching at him and drying his tears on the soft fabric of his jacket. China hugged back, muttering calming words between scoldings while Korea got his breathing under control

Ffff! Thanks. I always imagined that if Korea ever did break down, he would fall hard, since he's always so hyper when he's happy. I'm glad you think they're IC too. :3
that was great, author!anon. *in awe* it had... everything. korea breaking down like that felt quite fitting, given the situation and how the chara is, and china's physical strength (finally someone who doesn't have china like a feminine, overly weak Nation! i love you, anon!♥♥♥), and how sweet china is, and the whole comforting scene, and his words...
(and the sweet ending, too. can't forget that).
it was just perfect, and not at all an appetizer!fill! it was a good first and second course for me, indeed X3 this anon loves it very much, and thanks the author!anon for writing it. X3 (i'm not OP, but i wish i were...)
Waah! Thank you so much! ^_^ Yeah I don't think China is wimpy either, like I think he could definitely take control of any situation if he wants to (well that was obvious, since I wrote him that way, derp). And I'm glad Korea didn't seem OOC to you. Heehee, I love writing happy endings, so I worked really hard that. I'm glad the fill was filling enough for you, anon. (bad pun-ish joke I know, OTL.) :P
Thank you anon! Don't worry, it doesn't seem biased to me at all and please don't apologise, it was wonderfully adorable and this pairing needs more fills!
