As the subject said, America convincing England that he should become his colony... As he won't be in a good condition after war... Especially if he stop giving the other help.
Bonus: America gives warning to England that he will stop giving help if England tried to talk about this to someone else. Bonus: America indeed stop giving England help the moment he saw hesitation that England won't go with what he said. Or England talked about this to someone else. SUPER BONUS: America slowly cut England's relation with other nations, isolating the other... except to America of course.
