Bad Touch Trio, reviving a friendship anonymous September 20 2010, 18:22:26 UTC
The Bad Touch Trio were great friends…in the 1600s-1700s. Then all of them proceeded to behave like pricks to one another (mostly France and Prussia), and they’ve never been that close since then. But they all miss it. Boy, do they miss it.

So, someone (preferably not Romano) convinces Spain, the only one who managed to remain civil to the other two, to invite them for holidays. Unbeknown to the other, he invites both of them, and they proceed to throw a fit when they see each other. They have a lot of issues, anger and past hurt to get through, but thankfully they are proud and stubborn enough to remain at Spain’s just to show each other they can’t be removed.

Don't overlook Spain's side of things! Napoleon also invaded Spain, and Spain also suffered the World Wars and their aftermath, and his own Civil War. He has as many reasons to resent his friends as the other two, he's just more friendly and agreeable.

Bonus. Friends with benefits? Or only in the past, if you want to keep it strictly friendshippy?

tl;dr: Spain invites ( ... )

YES! YES! YES! On all counts! And double points for remembering that although Spain mostly kept relations civil between th other two, he had his own wounds from them. And dealt quite couple too...Napoleon invaded him through trickery and had a VERY hard time not only dealing with a poor but badass army that managed to defeat his men at the Battle of Bailen but also the first and hightly effective guerilla fighters that ultimately helped lead to Napoleon's final defeat! And ironcially, after the Europeans kid of abandoned Spain to face his civil War mostly alone, many Spaniards fled to France where they taught those guerrilla tactics that they once used on Napoleon to help free German occupied France. No wonder they're called the Bad Friends Trio, eh? ;)
