At some point in time, whether in the past or modern days, France is around when America is going through tough times. Feeling sympathy, he offers comfort through sex. America is pretty clumsy and wide-eyed, but he shows a definite improvement in mood afterward.
Fast forward. Later, it comes through France's attention - I'd prefer if he learned through an outside source, like Canada, but directly from America is fine, too - that he took America's virginity.
This offends France's sensibilities. He makes love to virgins very differently than he does to the experienced. OBVIOUSLY A DO-OVER IS IN ORDER, AND HE MEANS TO SEE IT THROUGH CORRECTLY THIS TIME. ♥

Alfred, oblivious boy that he was, only laughed. Francis knew that the density of the boy’s mind was not due to stupidity, as Arthur often griped whenever the two were fighting during world meetings, but rather because Alfred chose not to pay attention, consciously. Francis could not fathom the reasons why someone would purposefully take on projected stupidity, but he reasoned that Alfred, intelligent, astute boy that he could be, had good reasons for it. That didn’t stop Francis from being frustrated when Alfred refused to pick up on hints that any sensible person would perceive at once.
So he massaged Alfred’s shoulders. Alfred just continued that slightly strained smile.
“I dunno,” Alfred said, and wasn’t stepping away from the way Francis touched his shoulders, so Francis kept doing it. “It’s not that big of a deal.”
“You seem as if you are going through tough times, mon lapin“I’m not a bunny,” Alfred muttered absently, as if not even aware that he’d translated the French. Francis didn’t say anything in reply, since

Francis laughed and shrugged, far too used to Arthur’s reaction towards him. Should the day ever come when Arthur didn’t greet him with some kind of disdain, Francis would not know what to do with himself. In the meantime, he satisfied his daily dose of “ignore my cute neighbor” by sliding his hand beneath his jacket and sliding down to cup his backside. The reaction was always half the fun, and Arthur’s reactions never failed to satisfy

Matthew looked down, and shrugged. “Partly. I think he’s overworking himself. He’s stressed lately-he works late into the night and wakes up early. He’s trying to do everything he needs for his own country, and juggling all the international meetings and policies, all while trying to woo his allies

jkba;enlgjhoaiwe I am SO happy you're writing this! I saw this prompt and knew I needed this story in my life. Your France is pretty awesome so far, and I totally can't wait for the next part!

Dude, your France is so canon he made me realise I've been reading too many super awesome non-canon France lately. The fact that he offers comfort and advice groping the intended receiver is awesomely canon. I really like it, especially the fact that he genuinely cares and worries, as demonstrated by the end of the chapter. I also like that his preferred victims are oblivious Alfred, even-more-oblivious -and posssibly with even a better ass- Antonio(I loved the veiled reference of his "lovely visit", lol), and England just for the reaction; I've often thought that France goes around groping 70% just to see the reaction by everyoneXD. Especially England XD
It's also really nice and rare to see serious!Alfred, who takes his job seriously and works hard. England's short fuse is always amusing to watch, too. and omg was that America replying in French 'oui'? (though it confuses me, because later you implied that England doesn't speak French...)
But Francis hadn’t lived for centuries, surrounded by ridiculous neighbors, for nothingThis

I'm glad you liked it. :3;;
Also I should have made it a bit clearer - my headcanon says that Alfred, being such a cultural melting pot, knows a lot of languages, sometimes without even realizing it and can translate it and speak it kind of self-consciously unless he's paying attention. If anyone calls him out on it, he just gives them a blank look. Arthur, meanwhile, makes a conscious decision not to involve himself with French because it's that frog's!1 language (even though if he focuses he can understand it; that just means, though, that when Francis is plotting things against him he'll just speak French ha ha).
... if that makes any sense? lol it sounds silly when I type it up like that.

I agree with the other commenters - this is pretty cute and fun so far, but your France in particular is wonderful, the perfect mix of charming, sophisticated, and pervy. Just delightful. I'll definitely be watching for more!
I never once in a million years actually believed this would be filled, and filled so well. I am, in honesty, totally overcome. Oh my god. I feel just... spectacularly lucky, and happy, and eager to see more because fuck me, this is awesome.
(I loved the title, too. Even the title.)
It has to be said, I love all of your characterizations. France is so himself in wonderful ways - caring and observant, but still silly and light-hearted and perverted. He's all the things I adore most about France. (Because even while he's being a tease, and taking advantage of groping opportunities, he still takes the time to notice and admire how Matthew and Alfred interact. He still understands, through age and discretion, what Alfred is going through. He is beautifully aware, and reactive, and amazing.) I especially love how everything for him, even without the groping, is conveyed through touchAnd your Alfred. Naive yet hard-working. Trying to keep his hardships under the belt, but obviously working himself too hard.
