't has been a while, huh? :D; ...What can author!anon say, she's been busy with NOTHING! (I'm so sorry ;u;) So, uh, to the three of you who are still willing to read an update, enjoy.There's something sickening about human soldiers. It has been a while since anyone has dared to try to conquer his lands, but Ivan can still remember the itch of foreign armies trying their best not to return the embrace of General Winter. The feeling of filthy maggots wriggling underneath his skin, so eager to die

“I thought about taking you to my room to avoid causing a commotion, but-” Antonio begins with the explanation, not once looking at him in the eye. Instead he stares at the floor, face void of emotion before he turns around, not to continue on as before Ivan stopped, but to go to the nearest door the corridor has to offer.
Ivan looks on, frozen with fascination as it only takes one swift kick to break the door in, the lock crying out in pain as it fails to serve its purpose against such strength. Looking over his shoulder, Antonio still found the floor more interesting to watch, but it was to Ivan that he gave the invitation.
“This'll do,” he said before disappearing inside.
Ivan can't say that he's familiar with the feeling that invades his system when he takes the first step towards the room. His heart is beating wildly, and it is not quite excitement that he is feeling. What he does know, though, is that he has felt like this once upon a time, and that his memory serves it as a moment he felt most alive in all his impossible

“I promise to let you loose,” Ivan whispers against his skin, breathing hot and slow. “I promise to get more of that blood if that is what it'll take

“Just- anyone else but him. Please.” And Ivan is not sure if France is frowning because he's not fond of pleading or because the stench of his selfishness is not a pleasant one. Either way, there is nothing Ivan can say to the man considering the subject, so he makes his legs move again, towards and out of the door.
France's persistence follows him even to the hallway. “If it's sex you want, I can-”
And finally Ivan replies with a coldness that even Bonaparte couldn't defeat. “What I want has got nothing to do with you.”
And that is the simple, undeniable truth which a good boy would have kept to himself. The only thing he wants is Spain. Nothing more, nothing less. -- A question! Would you like to hear things from Antonio's perspective as well? Just a thought. Also, this update left me feeling a bit meh :/ I hope it tickled your fancy more than it did mine.

Yay! I thought you were gone for good, anon, and I was quite enjoying the story. Glad to see you haven't abandoned it.
Don't worry about feeling that this update was "meh," I thought it was just as good as the rest.
I don't really want to see inside Antonio's head because part of what I like in this story is the guessing and the manipulation that Ivan is doing... Ivan isn't quite sure what's going on inside Antonio either.
Plus, it's creepy as all hell when the smiling happy mask slips down suddenly and you realize that HOSHIT Antonio is JUST AS INSANE AS RUSSIA underneath his cheerful personality...

Dude, that was mesmerizing. The void of intensity and repressed actions that is Spain right now, and Russia's own tricky standing...I'm not sure I want to hear from Spain's POV, but I'm not sure I don't want to, either. I just...unf. Your Spain, I want moar.
And I just love love love love you forever for including France here! Either as a friend or (yay!) lover, his care and love for Spain was obvious here! France, Austria and England are the ones that should know most about Spain's old self (well, and Belgium and Netherlands), but still France, as his neighbour, older brother and dear friend (perhaps more) knows it better than anyone, and he dared to face his unstable friend and the most dangerous nation of all to ask Russia to leave the first alone. And even offered himself, bawww ;_;

And, in all honesty, I don't want to hear anything from Spain's POV. I like being kept in the dark as to what he's thinking. It keeps me intrigued!
