England walked quickly away from the hotel where the meetings had been taking place. The other nations could find their way back to their rooms fine, he had fulfilled his part as the host country. He darted down an alley short cut and appeared right outside James and Brown. Veering off to the side, he went in the staff entrance that also lead to two apartments on top of the shop, one that England had bought and now rented out to Miss Brown and Miss James, on the condition that they let him work at the shop for a few hours whenever he, or they, needed it

This is amazing, from the women, to the kids~ You know Arthur loves children, you just have to!
And you have got this spot on, Anon. Fifteen minutes after school lets out is the busiest time of day, Monday through Friday. Two o'clock on Saturdays, and then an hour after church lets out on Sundays, are also busy times.
A glorious fill and a smattering of USUK? My, Anon, you do spoil me~
(You'll have to forgive me though, the entire time I was reading this, I was picturing the candy store from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with Gene Wilder.)

oh god askldfjs; I am so glad someone decided to fill this prompt I saw it last time and thought it was the best thing ever. (or perhaps that's because of my love of candy stores)

Ahem. I can't help but imagine Alfred finding out about the shop, being forbidden from ever entering it, then still showing up and cleaning out the entire stock and embarrassing Arthur to death with his sugar rush-induced behavior. XD

I was GOBSMACKED at all the comments. I think that's the most I've got for one update ever on the kink meme and I was so happy when I saw it. I won't answer all of them otherwise I'll ramble and there will just be a whole comment of notes. Yes my headcanon is England loving kids and gossiping with old ladies, I'm glad my guess about the sweet stores were right (my family used to go out after Church on Sunday to get some sweets if we'd been good but I didn't know that others did that) and I hope everyone enjoys the update! "What can I get for five quid?" One of the boys said rudely, cutting off the girl's thanks

Pfft, reminiscing about young cute little boys he knew once upon a time while talking to young whippersnappers rude-yet-adorable customers? Arthur really is an old man. XD
Also? Fairy cakes will never not make me laugh. <3

The cutest, most amazing part of this is, that the blond man with the green eyes working in that candy store, is a Nation. Oh goodness, almost forgot that.
How cute can it be, really! If I imagine this from the perspective of someone who actually KNOWS who is Arthur, it most look so silly and yet tender. Watching from outside the window glass, as Arthur speaks to little children in a candy-patterned apron.

Arthur is such an old man, thinking about the past. Yep, they’re called fairy cakes in England. Cup cakes are normally the tiny little muffins. I’ve just realised that England can see fairies and they’re called fairy cakes. America shows up in the next one, the whole Arthur serving the customers just expanded. It’s just weird thinking about England the nation working in a sweet shop. I must find a way to get the apron into this fill. Anyway thanks again for the comments, I’m always surprised I get so many. Since it’s been so long since I updated, have an extra two parts! The next boy that came up had brown hair and brown eyes and a manner that reminded Arthur of Canada

and I love how Arthur also gossips with the ladies (they even know his love trouble, eh? XD) d'awww it fits his embroidering-English-gentleman side.
and I also get to learn about sweets from the West (is Asian!anon) so I find this very interesting. and of course, the US/UK <333
