With a school AU setting, I'd like to see uncontrollable/violent/wild/troubled/whatever punk!Arthur finally being forced to go see a counsellor by his school as they're tired of his behaviour and running out of money to pay for all the damages he causes. What the school doesn't know is that over the sessions, a relationship has been forming between Arthur and the counsellor. One that's not so innocent and certainly not appropriate.
The counsellor can be anyone you'd like, with whatever pairing. USUK, FrUK, Prussia/UK, Russia/UK, Spain/UK, heck whatever! Go wild anons, I'm not particular on pairings.

I suppose I'll just have to wait for you to de-anon though you still seem familiar and Francis and Arthur as frenemies has always been my headcanon (and them being sickened after messing around together might very well join it).
I was already picturing Arthur as about 16 or 17, and since the age of consent is 16 in the UK, I wasn't really fussed. And while I'm not exactly advocating students sexing up their counsellors, that's probably less to do with them being a counsellor and more to do with the fact that the only counsellor I've ever met under forty was a thirty-five-year-old lesbian in a stable relationship with three children. (I mean, come on. Think of the children.) But if it's Alfred, I think I can manage XD

There's a sympathetic bleat.
"Do you not think so?" Francis asks, nudging Arthur with his elbow. "Or is it that you think he's out of your league?"
Arthur laughs and says, "He's not my type. And he's my counsellor. It would get messy if I tried it on with him."
Francis hums thoughtfully, stopping to sprinkle tobacco into his rolling papers. With clever fingers, he twists the end and lights a match off a wall. It's painfully showy, but then again, Arthur is the one who can catch three cigarettes with his teeth. It doesn't seem fair to pass comment.

I think my favourite part is how Arthur thinks of that guy in terms of 'kid' and 'boy' even though he knows he himself was actually the younger and smaller one. It says a lot about his character here and what kind of life he has. I like it.

Playing matchmaker already? Now Arthur can't make a move just out of principle of the matter! (Though I'm sure he'll get past it...)
(I would have thought Arthur would go for rollies, though - aren't they much cheaper than boxes? I'm not a smoker, though, so I might be wrong. I'm pretty sure they come in more than just vanilla.)

I've always felt its the reader's solemn duty to keep the writer happy...if only to get more frequent updates!
(roll-ups are cheaper--healthier, too--but arthur's just saying he wouldn't share francis', because he always picks vanilla. arthur only buys boxes out of habit, and he hasn't the patience to roll a cigarette when he gets an urge.)

Arthur's voice here is really authentic - I've known a lot of kids who've been on this side of things and the way he talks and thinks reminds me of them.

Arthur can't remember getting a split lip, but his aching mouth serves as a reasonable enough explanation. He does remember drinking, though, and some derogatory comments about his height, and some wanker stealing his bar stool.
(Then it dissolves into fists and kicks and the crunch of glass.)
He drags himself to the mirror, head throbbing, and checks his teeth. Front. Canines. Molars. All in one, at least.
Feeling like shit and not much else, Arthur throws himself into an icicle shower. The pain in his temples spikes, then settles. He can't remember if he has anymore painkillers, because he'll sure as hell need them.
Arthur brushes his teeth, after, and spits stale alcohol into the drain. His mouth tastes entirely less like death.
It hits a full five seconds later. Bollocks, it's Monday, isn't it, and that stupid puppy-faced yank will be waiting in that stupid, dank office, eyes blue and wide and seaside bright. What will he think when he sees Arthur's swollen jaw? Thug, probably, but that's the reputation Arthur's built
