I am totally rocking out to Disney songs in Canadian French right now. As a result, I am rather hyper and my family thinks I’m insane. And I finally got the ‘All My Nations’ thing. Took me a while. XD Anywho, ONWARDS~!
Matthew grew up hearing fairytales and stories of magical beings and people with magical powers. Once upon a time, Great Britain had told him stories of his fae friends. Matthew never did see the magical creatures Arthur would speak to from time to time, but occasionally he would hear a soft rushing sound like waves breaking on the shore emanating from the air around his guardian as he conversed with his invisible friends

“See them? Vaguely. They look like little balls of light to me. One red, one green, one blue. Can’t hear a thing though.” Prussia shrugs. “Anyway, how do you plan on getting home

I am officially gonna find a way to murder the character limit.
“I can’t do this.” Colombia cradles his head in his hand and groans. “I can’t watch him just waste away and die again.”
France has nothing to say to that. There was nothing he could do or say to comfort Matthew in 1815 when the reality of his twin’s death caught up with him, and there is still nothing now.
“He’s not gonna make it, Francis. Twenty nine days can’t possibly be enough for England to completely recreate the spell from scratch. We don’t even know if he’ll get the books he needs! Great Britain used to tell us how complex large acts of magic are, and how everything has to be perfect. If you don’t get it one hundred percent right, you could end up as a bloody smear on the wall! This couldn’t be any worse!”
“It could be much worse, cher. He could have appeared in unfriendly territory, he could have been alone. He could have less time left.”
“If I’d rebelled with him the first time, none of that would matter!”
“You cannot be certain. You could have both been

If I don't manage to get another chapter up by the 26th, you'll have to wait for the New Year, as I am flying to the other side of the country to visit grandparents and then going to a friend's family's New Years party waaaay out in the middle of no where, where this is no internet or computer for me to use. Just a heads up.
Authornon is kinda a jerk and she knows it.

I quite literally cackled like Prussia when I read your comment. For some weird reason that made my morning.
It took me far longer than I am willing to admit to get the joke. I was suddenly like 'OH!! OH!! Bahahaha!' and my entire family stared at me for a momen before going back to what they were doing. They're mostly used to my random hysterics, thank god.
If I ever have a need for German that goes beyond what two years of high school classes and a dictionary can solve, I shall be sure to drop you a line. And if you spot something that's a grammar fail, definately let me know. <3
*quiet squeal* Another update! Though it does leave off on a cliffhanger again, which is a bit nail-biting. England's definitely thinking of going to his other self...Hopefully that exchange involves a good punch to the jaw.
Can I say that I love the fairies? I'm not sure why, but I really do like them. How quietly informative they are, how they're so quickly willing to help, the way they hint at Great Britain's change and don't like it, it's all great.
And the scenes with Gilbert and Francis were excellent, their loyal support is so heartwarming. I'm looking forward to the next one as always author-non. ^_^
Authornon is grinning like a fool.

I do appologize for all the cliffhangers. I can't seem to help myself. *shame*
I'm glad you enjoyed the fae. They were both very fun and very difficult to write. And you have no idea how happy it makes me to hear that the part with Francis came out alright. That whole bit kicked my ass to the curb and back. I was worried it sounded corny. ^^;;

Anxiously awaiting more!

I like your concept with the people and their nations, too. :)
Thanks so much for updating! I'm eagerly awaiting more. :D

Even if this ends up being like a soap opera (which it's not), it's freaking awesome.
AS LONG AS MY NATION DOESN'T DIE (again)! D':
I have a feeling there's gonna be a field trip to London later for the purposes of retrieving spell books. Is my hunch correct? :3

I'm afraid I can't tell you either way. >_>

And I figured you couldn't tell me, but I love speculating. And it seems I had a bit of a point...
This chapter didn't drag on! At least, I don't think it did...^^;
Wonder how Al will react. I have a feeling he'll be the calmest about the whole thing. IDK why...
Have fun in the middle of nowhere! :D
