Not the first anon that was going to fill this, but when I saw this request I had to fill it! I included France and America in this fill per the request, in a hinted relationship because I love them together. I hope this is what the anon is looking for."Good meeting today, da?" Russia smiled at his fellow nations as they gathered their papers from the day's meeting into their briefcases. Across the table England shot him a glance that would've been a sneer to anyone else, but Russia only saw the smile that England intended. There was no need to sneer at friends, surely. As he gathered his own papers and files Russia watched his friends. Germany at the head of the table hadn't heard his comment and was meticulously storing everything away into color-coded folders. The Italy brothers were doing a sloppy job of cleaning up themselves; surely if they slowed down they wouldn't be leaving so many things behind. France and America were already halfway out the door, busy, it seemed, with a very pressing matter. France was practically crawling

Good fanfic, a little bit to fluffy, but I like it.=) >you were still so young at the time< How could Russia be young? It's nineteenth century, and Ivan was in the age of seven hundred years at that time...

I dunno. You could always argue the age of countries up or down depending on what particular regime you mark as the "start." Like how some people make Germany very young (conceived after the failed revolutions of 1840) and some make him an extension of older German principalities. Historically, Tsarist Russia spend a lot of its time living up to France. The royal court spoke French (some nobles never even learned Russian) and Russia had issues with living up to being a part of Europe (or even getting Europe to agree that they were the same).

Well, unlike the German history, Russian history is quite simple in this regard. Duchy of Moscow appeared in thirteenth century. And since then it never left. Historically, it began only in the middle of eighteen century. Well all royal courts and nobles spoke French it was an international language back then. He still has this issue, but hardly Europe someday recognizes Ivan as equal.
