He could smell the blood in the room, and the indescribable smells you can only associate with torture and fear. He hated doing this, but when one of your allies gets captured in a bloody war, it was your damn duty to do all in your power to free them, even if it's someone you hate with all your guts and garters. He wasn't about to admit it, but he was worried the damned frog was dead, with just how much blood he was smelling in the room. He limped across the chamber, only just able to make out the shape of a leg from the entrance, and had to pause to wipe the blood that was dripping into his eye from one of his own many injuries, halfway through

In his time, he has kissed the hands or feet of many monarchs, following whatever the courts deemed proper at the times, but there were only two monarchs that he had kissed in any other fashion than was acceptable to the courts. One was on the cheek, the other one, the forehead. Of the two kisses, he truly considered the one on the forehead more intimate. It was closer to the dear Elizabeth of York's sweet mind. She had simply smiled after, and took him for a day of hunting and dancing. And the other person whom he kissed would remain in his most private thoughts for many years to come, only wishing he had kissed her once more

I'm glad you enjoyed op. I think right now England and America are my favourite two characters to write (Though I love writing others too and I don't just mean the two together) so I'm glad my England is up to snuff. Thanks for the request.
