USUK - History AU - No American Revolution

In all the American history classes I've attended, all the teachers loved to point out that for the longest time Americans saw themselves as British and that one of the real reasons we revolted was because of the fact that we were taxed without representation in Parliament. So prompt is this: America gives Britain an ultimatum. Acknowledge him as part of the Commonwealth and make him an equal or he's leaving.
In other words, America wants to Britain to 'put a ring on it'.
FRANCE! :D Oh, thank you author!anon, that was hilarious. I was absolutely giddy when I saw someone had responded to my prompt. Pfft, France acknoweleding just how ridiculously lucky the whole revolution had to be to pull it off. D'aww, France manages to pull off the worried big brother even when he declares him his enemy. Now the only I'm wondering about is what America thought when he read it.

France, you are not scaring anyone with that "mortal enemy" stuff.
I really liked this fill, author anon. I would like to comment on something, though:
The United Kingdom of Great Britain,Northern Ireland and British America
Assuming the events in this story take place in the late 18th century, the name of the nation would be The United Kingdom of Great Britain, as Ireland only joined the UK in 1800. Only in 1927, after its secession from the Irish Free State, Northern Ireland re-joined the UK and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland came to be.
A small detail in a great fill, I know, but I thought it was something that needed to be said.

as much as I love this idea, it kinda makes me sad that there might be a parallel universe out there without all that America has to offer ;A; it may make me sound conceited about my country, but we really brought more to the table than people give us credit for.
In other words, America wants to Britain to 'put a ring on it'.
Britain accepts.
What happens after that is up to you, anon!
