Overall, Westwood was an okay neighborhood. North Village would have been hella expensive had they not been roommates. The company was pretty to look at, sorority girls were good about keeping quiet if you asked nicely, and the frat boys had come to accept Francis and Antonio as one of their own even though neither Francis nor Antonio were members of the fraternity. Nor, in fact, were they enrolled students.
Gilbert was the student, and he was a junior majoring in Cognitive Science. He was also a lazy slob who had no intention of trying his hand at med school. The MCAT was a fucking nightmare and his GPA wasn't high enough. He didn't want to go into corporate work and grad school was a definite no sirreeWhen it came to his future ambitions, Gilbert had one and it had nothing to do with his major. "I'll be a writer!" he proclaimed. But when further prodded in regards to the kind of writer he would be, or even how he would go about it, he had nothing to add, only he would surely be awesome at it on account of the time he'd won third

Antonio once tried to cook paella to over-shadow the stench but half-way through he realized that he hadn't enough rice. He had to send Francis out for the rice, and Francis kept messing up the kind of rice to buy and Gilbert was just being a dolt by tasting all of Antonio's ingredients without washing his hands, and in the end, long story short, the paella failed. There was also a slight burnt mark on the ceiling, two calls for the fire department, one panic attack from the elderly lady next door, and that was kissing goodbye to Apartment Numero Uno, the lease to which ended in June
