Great start Author!Anon, fem!America's life seems so peaceful and at the same time sort of routinely order. I don't blame her for looking for some little fun before tying the knot
Also the answer to the question, clarification is okay with me! :) I'm looking to the next update Author!Anon!
Abby's mother is so mean LOL, what she said made me feel bad for poor Mattie XD
Francis is such a perverted funny uncle! I like how he interacts with his Abigail, but I'm just imagining how he'll react to the kidnapping and Arthur! XD

Peter had always known Arthur a man of dedication and pride to his job. And booze. He was not excessive. Even as a pirate. He carried himself in such a manner, he deserved to be respected. He didn’t have to kill one of his crew to get respect, like most pirates. He was mostly like a father figure to his crew and respectably good mates with old sea dogs. He had great connections as well

Arthur definitely wanted to know more from that girl. Women were never held his attention long after his manly needs were met so it was surprising that she, a proper prim aristocrat girl, had attracted his attention. Well into the night after Peter had long gone to sleep, Arthur was lost in his thoughts.
That damn portrait. Why’d I have to look at that bloody picture. Oh, boy-o, a cursed doomed fate I am for ever looking at it.
At first, it was just another girl in a portrait. But, he knew who painted that portrait. It was that renowned painter, Vargas, and he always kept an eyeout at his work. He had met him while he was plundering out some island near Cuba with “supposed gold” hidden underneath the city. He had a sword held up against the itailian’s throat, demanding to know information about the gold.
The boy sang like a canary, to Arthur’s dismay, and learned that the gold was long gone when that damn Spanish bastard seized the gold.
Damn it, I’m going to kill that churro lover one day.Well, he remembered to scare the boy

Head feeling a mighty painful aggravation, she dared to open her eyes to check her surroundings. It was dark. Not very helpful. Not very helpful at all. But it was soft, so she could deduce she was laying on some sort of bed with a layer of blanket over her. Attempting to remember the precedence of this event, Abigail thought back to the morning. What had happened there

Abigail was an adventurer by heart. It never came as a surprise that she didn’t think it strange to fight. In fact she liked to wrestle with Matthew (and win constantly). It was a prim and proper life but she hated being still and obedient. Regardless of her high class
