Greece/Japan - My Big Fat Asian Wedding

In spite of Greece being Greek, Japan's actually the one who has the huge, crazy family and better fits the initially shy Toula role.
So let's have a Giripan retelling of "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" with Japan as the one with loony relatives (China as the overprotective father/older brother who still sees Japan as his precious little son/brother, Hong Kong as the fireworks expert, Korea as Korea, etc.) and Greece as the one who has to earn their approval as Japan's very non-Asian boyfriend.
It doesn't even have to be an exact retelling of the film; anything that focuses on Greece meeting Japan's wacky family would make me a very happy anon.
Bonus #1: It's not just Greece's non-Asianness that throws Japan's family for a loop; it's also the fact that he's, you know, a guy. Bonus #2: Japan's relatives expect Greece to be like the wild, partying Greeks they've seen in shows and movies and are surprised when he turns out to be kinda the opposite of that.

They were relaxing in the post-coital bliss as Heracles lazily trailed his lips along Kiku's shoulder. Kiku was about to fall asleep when he heard Heracles say something

Yeah, I really do fail. First I forget to put up a title and then I miss the period between request freezes which I was waiting for and filled this so I would be able to put up my request that I had in my head for forever.

The next morning, Kiku woke up to find Heracles already up (a rare occurance), chatting away on the phone in Greek. He was talking to his mother. It was hard to keep up with what he was saying, but it was easy to tell that he was telling her about their recent engagement. Kiku could hear excited chatter from the reciever, and it seemed that Heracles kept getting interrupted

I'm so excited the more the merrier (marrieder?) and the more the madness. I like the way this is starting off and I love the concept. I can't wait to see more.

Nice start so far. Oh Kiku, you should panic, this is going to be terrifyingfor Heracles.
You got a nice mix of thought and dialogue and both Greece and Japan seem to be IC. Will be looking for the next update.
It's annoying when you don't get your request in but just write it down somewhere and wait for the next request lift which should be in about a week/week and a half.

I had been so hoping someone would fill this and you did, yay! It's an awesome beginning, such sweet tranquility, I can't wait for the chaos to begin *evil snicker*

I just watched this movie for the first time last night, and I pretty much squealed my way through all of this first bit. I will be stalking you intensely, plz and thanks.
I'm delighted that someone's filling this! If you want constructive criticism, it might be a good idea for you to use spell-check in later parts, as I spotted some typos here that would have been caught by Word's spell-checker and other ones like "beside" instead of "bedside".
Still, you did a nice job with Japan and Greece's characterizations and the setting up of the plot to come, and I'm genuinely eager to get to the part where Greece learns how...special Japan's family is. >:D
