Any + the Doctor - adventures!

I'm kind of desperate for any 'Doctor Who' crossover. Just- yes. Nations interacting with any version of the Doctor (or other characters) set within the context of an episode.
I would prefer gen, or at least don't pair the Doctor with anyone. Other than that, whatever you want! I admit I'm really only familiar with New-Who, but I'm not too picky.
Bonus - the Nation isn't England. The Doctor has had plenty of international adventures. (I'm thinking specifically France ('Girl in the Fireplace') or America ('Impossible Astronaut'/'Day of the Moon', etc), but whoever you come up with is cool too.)

Apologies if any of the Scots (Scotch? Scottish?) words are wrong! Little bit of background before jumping into the story: The second Doctor, Ben & Polly have landed on Culloden Moor right after the battle of 1746. In regular Doctor Who fashion, Polly went off and the Doctor and Ben, together with two surviving highlanders, get captured by the English and end up in a jail in Inverness. That is where we come in

This story was set during the 1966/67 doctor who serial "the highlanders". It featured the second doctor and companions Ben and Polly, and introduced Jamie. It was also the last non-alien related story to be produced until "black Orchid" in the 1980's. Unfortunately, like many of the serials from the time, the episodes were deleted by the BBC to make space on the tapes, and all that remains are a few seconds cut from transmission by the censors (how's that for irony?). However, to the many, many people who did not see it when it was initially run, all hope is not lost! In 1984 it was novelised by Gerry Davis (this is the version I used), the BBC has brought out a CD release, using audio from the original production, and the BBC doctor who website contains a photonovel version

Thank youuuu!! You've made my little Whovian heart quite happy!
I really liked the use of Scottish, which certainly makes sense in the context, as I'm really bad at imagining that accent when I'm reading. And now I'm even more interested to watch the old episodes, so thank you! I also appreciate how the Nations don't smack you over the head with their presence. It's like a neat little secret.
Even the doctor raised an eyebrow. Where had he heard that name before? Where indeed, Doctor?
(I'm not very good at reviewing, but yeah. Hurray!)
