China as a manipulative Asian mother with his siblings. No, none of that Tiger Mother crap. Rather, he instills his siblings with the Confucian principles of duty and respect to elders, and then doesn’t hesitate to manipulate them with said principles whenever they have disagreements (or even just whenever he’s in a bad mood). And of course, he can be very controlling. Don’t even try arguing with him-he’ll always find a way to twist your words against you. Thing is, China really does want the best for his siblings, and they do all turn out as decent people. He just doesn’t realize that the reason they all leave him is because they can’t stand his constant parenting.
Bonus: He finally realizes the flaws in his methods in time try to raise Hong Kong in a more healthy manner.
