I really like your writing style. It flows nicely and it's descriptive, but still... Light. Does that make sense? Lol. Anyway I'm really looking forward to more and I can't wait to reach the angst :)

.I'm not even going to go into mpreg, since yours is yet another piece that failed to make me see why it's so popular-- the phrase "pregnant man" just makes me shudder-- but that's beside the point right now.
I actually really enjoy your writing style. It's descriptive without being over the top, and I could really get a feel for the scene-- America's sweetness and the underlying excitement that's filled their house.
The only thing is, why do they already have baby locks and a baby gate set up? The locks I can maybe understand, if they don't want to deal with it later while adjusting to the baby, but the gate really wouldn't be necessary until it was at least 6 months old, and most likely not til it reached 8-9 months. I just... wonder why they'd put themselves through so much trouble for no reason.
