Possible if Russia handed the gun over to someone else in the Bloody Sunday strip, and now I wanna write that too

Yikes. Didn't see that coming. But it's so blackly humorous..I'm sure there's lots of nations that resent their people sometimes.

Thanks :) Honestly, I just had this scenario pop into my head and I'm unsure of what exactly her reasoning was. I think it was a) she's mentally unstable anyway, b) she really hated that guy, and c) she cares more about her brother than about her humans and d) she knows he'll do a better job. I like to think that in this ficverse they reunite, she gets the mental help she needs, and they rename themselves East and West to get rid of the connotations of North and South. (Hoping the situation ends less violently than this in real life. Hang in there, Korean Peninsula.)
