England +America - Everyone else believes in England's friends anonymous October 16 2011, 07:29:43 UTC
Ever notice that the only one who makes fun of England's "imaginary" friends is America? (Okay so Japan got a little freaked out that England was hearing stuff when he visited but that's different than disbelief.) My headcannon says that everyone else believes in them even tho they can't see them. I want someone to finally put America in his place on this issue. Maybe Norway sics his troll on America or France defends England for once. I just really want America being forced to deal with the fact that he's the ONLY one who dosn't believe in fairies.

I'd like lots of characters in this interacting and talking about their own mythology.

Super-bonus: Canada can see them he's just never said anything because he figured noone would care.

*England's invisible friends second this ... especially if there's minimal violence to America D:*

I agree. Comedic violence would be okay but Unicorn would be upset if America was hurt too badly after all.

It makes perfect sense that America is the only one who doesn't believe in England's imaginary special friends; after all, it's canon that all the other nations are able to see them once they go to England. (Persuasive, isn't he?) And of course America is the only exception. And unlike the whole "unable to read the atmosphere" thing, I don't think America is pretending about this. LOL

Alas, that's just from the author's character notes, so there's not much to see per se: http://aph.starry-sky.com/matome_heta.html

Although here's a strip where France experiences this and is highly confused and disturbed: http://aph.starry-sky.com/rkgk16.html

OMG! Thank you! Hmmm... I wonder if that's supposed to mean that after visiting England they gain the ability to see spirits or that they're able too see spirits while visiting England.

Plus... OMG! THOSE UNICORS ARE SO CUTE!!!

Potential!Author-anon has a question! anonymous October 22 2011, 07:05:34 UTC
OP:

Erm, this request piqued my interest. The problem is that my plot outline is leaning towards something much darker and serious, because of my own headcanon as to why America doesn't believe in fairies while everyone else can see and interact with them. I'll also be limiting it to only a few nations' mythologies. And beyond one (sorta) pairing with a non-Hetalia character (not a human or other nation OC), this looks to be fairly gen unless I decide to get in a porny mood.

Is this all of this alright with you?

From,
Potential!Author-anon.

I love dark fills! And I'm perfectly fine with gen-fic. Porn is always welcome, but it's definitely not necesary for this fill.

And yes it's okay to limit the nations in it. I think it'd go on forever if everyone's mythologies were mentioned.

Great! I'll start planning out the story. I hope you'll be a bit patient, though: I've got a busy RL to deal with.
