There are times I don't understand what's wrong with me and those around me. I keep struggling with feelings I haven't yet realized what they mean. Those eyes watch me so beautifully amazed and I just feel the deep emptiness inside me being filled with something warm. I wish I could understand what's on his mind, but maybe he's just a daydreamer and I'm a fool.
It always takes time to talk to me, like he has not yet decided what to talk about. Then, he comes up with something really stupid or something I don't get. Our conversations always end with me calling him an idiot. I don't think we'll get along for long. It's just matter of time and he'll be tired of me.

When Arthur moved in, Alfred was excited to see the new student, he knew he was British and Alfred had a crush on international cultures . He had a lot of friends from everywhere in the world and he really had a thing for languages.
Well, accents in this case. He and Arthur shared the same languages, even though Arthur made it clear the first time they met that he did not speak Alfred's language.
He was disappointed . He thought Arthur would become his friend, his mate, but he just pushed him away and called him an obnoxious brat.
A month later, they started school and Alfred tried to approach Arthur again. Maybe Arthur calmed down, because he was more open to talk to him. They hang out for a while and Alfred discovered Arthur liked sports, books and rock music. He had one shelf filled with CDs of his favourite bands , sometimes shared them with Alfred, made him listen new songs or old songs Alfred didn't know, they spent the afternoons together singing and chatting about everything, anything at all. "You're a twat" Arthur says as he open the changing room of their school. Alfred burst in, follows Arthur, keeping his eyes on his blonde hair and trying not to notice how Arthur's shirt is stuck on his back from the sweat and his snow white skin looks pure and flawless.
And before Arthur turns around, Alfred is averting his gaze and staring at the shower stalls like they are the most interesting thing in the room.
"I think that was a good move, anyway" Arthur adds and lift his shirt up, throwing it on the floor and grabbing his bag.
American football is not Arthur's favourite sport, he always complains about it but when Alfred drags him in the field, he always plays.
Then he adds 'I'm not doing it for you. It's just that I don't have anything else to do'.
Oh, whatever. Alfred is more than fine with that, as long as Arthur spends time with him. He thinks Arthur is a liar and he enjoys everything Alfred does and makes him do, but he will never admit that. He think Arthur enjoys his company, in general. But that's ( ... )

"Alfred Jones, are you here?" Arthur waves his hand and stands in front of him, waiting for a reply, maybe. Alfred snaps out of his thoughts and just laughs, turning away to grab his towel and get in the fucking shower right now.
So he does, not glancing at Arthur, he does not want to see him naked and then have to hide some embarrassing bulge under his towel.
The hot water washes over him like the sun kisses the flowers early in the morning, his body relaxes under a warmth that is spreading all over him, and from inside him, a little moment when Alfred let his dreams come reality and watches them like he's watching a movie.
And there's Arthur. Arthur all over him, with his red and wet lips licking up his neck, kissing, touching, exploring every inch of their bodies, running fingers through their hair, breathing each other -
But none of this happens.
Alfred really needs cold water now.

"So" - Arthur starts saying as they are heading for home - "What are you doing tonight?"
Alfred puts his hands in the pockets, looks around the streets with a not-quite-curious face and the answers in a whisper: "Got a date."
Arthur doesn’t hear and furrow his huge eyebrows and he looks older when he does. Alfred laughed at him the first time he had seen Arthur worried, with that serious look on his face, he suggested him to do something at his eyebrows because they were (still are) really big and Arthur said him to just fuck off.
Now, Alfred really like them. They are part of Arthur's beautiful face, of his expressions, he cannot imagine Arthur without them.
"What did you say?" Arthur asks.
"I said I got a date." Alfred hums.
"The girl you were talking to in the hall?"
Alfred looks at him surprised and nods. There a warm sun touching his shoulders and he feels good.
Arthur yawns and kicks a stone. "Where are you taking her?"
"Not sure, maybe we'll just be at my place".
"Oh" murmurs.

Alfred can't believe it. He has a bleeding nose and looks like shit. And he's waiting outside Arthur's door. He texted him before leaving and asked him if he was home. Arthur had just replied with 'yes'.
Very much like him.
So, now Alfred is there. He texts Arthur again, he does not want to ring the bell and wakes Arthur's parents.
'Open the door. I'm here.'
Alfred waits and sees the light on in Arthur's bedroom, so he guesses Arthur is still awake. That's good. He just has to talk to him and tell him how he feels. And then Arthur could actually push him away, which wouldn't be a problem. He has a lot of friends. That's not the problem.
He will miss Arthur, if Arthur ever says his feelings are not returned.
Fuck, he can't.
“You look well-shagged," is Arthur's sarcastic comment when he opens the door.
"Shut up," Alfred replies, "let me in."
Arthur was about to go sleep, Alfred guesses. He's wearing short pants and a whit shirt, a bit tight and a with a huge black guitar on the chest.

"You're so silly", Arthur says, five minutes later, while he's wiping his nose. Arthur grabs him by the chin and doesn't let go until Alfred's nose is clean again. He brushes his fingers on Alfred's face while he's doing the work and Alfred heats up. Again.
"Don't you have a girl, Arthur?" Alfred suddenly asks.
"You know I don't. And what kind of question is that?"
"I was curious. That's all."
Arthus humps.
"Who was your last girlfriend?"
Alfred huffs this time. "I don't remember."
"Then, you last boyfriend?"
Arthur's eyes widen. Why did he ask that?
"Uhm .. I didn't- "
Too late. Arthur pulls away, throws the tissue in the bin and turns away. He opens the closet and pulls out some pants for Alfred.
"I never had a girlfriend." he says, warily.
He never- ?
