Any nations - My seating partners anonymous April 8 2012, 23:26:07 UTC
To make things easier, nations are seated next to the same people in all meetings. So nation A is always sat next to Nation B and (and Nation C if its a long table, but I was sort of looking for just one character). And over time, even if the countries do not talk much in real life, Nation A is able to pick up on certain things about Nation B, such as relationships, feelings and how the characters acts.

So what I am asking is a viewpoint of Nation A on Nation B, and who isn't really usually seen with that country, but in fact they both know each other quite well.

((Sort of Bonus: I sort of wanted this prompt to be alphabetically seated, to make the seating arrangements sort of make sense, but that might be too difficult to get two random canon characters to sit together alphabetically so... if you want to do it like that, please do!))

It could be UN, NATO, EU, whatever, any internation meetings of some sort.

Minifill - Australia, Austria; OCs!Armenia and Azerbaijan (1/2) anonymous April 11 2012, 00:54:46 UTC
So... This is kind of not what you asked for at all, but well, you mentioned how they'd probably be alphabetically seated and plotbunnies ensued. Hopefully you enjoy anyway! And somebody else can hopefully give you a more accurate fill please don't hurt me. Also, absolutely no offense is meant to any Armenian or Azerbaijani anons who see this; I was trying to remain neutral about the conflict.

Exactly whose fault it is is unknown. Probably whoever decided Ostereich, when translated into English, should be spelt with an au; or else whoever decided Australia's most defining characteristic was being southernly, and they should describe that with the Latin just to be pretentious. Or whoever decided to seat people at these meetings alphabetically, or to use the English names to do so. In any case ( ... )

fff HTML-fail

"See? Rude!" cries Australia. Austria whacks his palm.

"Well, at least we have a bone of contention - a modern bone of contention. You're just yelling at each other."

"They're getting involved in our argument, Azerbaijan," says Armenia, looking angry and defiant yet again. "So don't you go mocking them. It's all your fault."

"Arrie, I'd thank ya for standin' up for us but I've a feelin'--"

"My fault? Hey, we are both arguing here ( ... )

For god's sakes, if she and Austria get into another argument he will... seriously reprimand them both. That'll show them.

And that's where I began to choke laughing, author!anon.

Random Fill- Germany, Ghana, France anonymous April 13 2012, 02:31:10 UTC
f Germany prided himself on one thing, it was his composure. To be able to stay level headed during the world meetings was a job only the most mature and mentally-sound nations could accomplish. This fact basically left only one capable nation in the room. It did not deter Germany from reaching out and hoping he could find someone else like him, though. Someone...normal. So he came up with an ingenious plan ( ... )

'Cause this prompt is awesome, have a third fill.Being the youngest of the Nordic, Iceland found it hard to befriend other nations. At first it was because of shyness, then it was because of laziness, but now everybody already had their own circle of friends and knew enough about each other that nobody tried the whole ‘broadening your circle of friends’ except for a few select overly-friendly nations ( ... )

The I Side of the Table -- Part 4/5 anonymous April 27 2012, 05:47:50 UTC
They were tired of fighting and bickering non-stop as well. Just like England and France, but nobody probably notice it, considering how hostile they were normally. Like him, Indonesia, India, and Ireland noticed it, but kept their mouth shut as well. None of them were known to be gossipers anyway (and the trio’s glinting blades helped convincing them not to ( ... )

“Hey, Iceland” Indonesia said, finally finished with his curse for the day. He was smiling warmly, as he always did whenever the Netherlands wasn’t near. Next to him, Ireland was also leaning in, red bangs hiding her thick eyebrows and framing her bright green eyes ( ... )

*Iz screaming coz you wrote about Indonesia*

How do you know so much about him? Haha from his otaku-ness to his affinity to black magic, and his long, long history of colonisation (four centuries who am I even kidding).

Not so sure if he is tsundere tho. Indonesians are mostly friendly.

And Israel-Iran-Iraq i-hate-you-but-not-really relationship is sweet.

I like that it ties in with the previous fills :)

Three paras were repeated in 3/5 and 4/5 tho, fyi.

Loving it!

Thank you. Sorry about the repeat, I just caught that after posting it.

My dear OC!Indonesia is nice and friendly to any, especially Russia, but only tsundere for the Netherlands. This is my personal headcanon. (But after writing this I become convinced that he's good with Ireland too, mostly because I come to love her here. It'd be a funny love triangle, with both side pointing to Indonesia)

I don't know much about Iran-Iraq-Israel, but I refused to believe them as entirely hostile and would like some niceness in their character and relationship.

(and the tied in is mandatory. I just couldn't leave poor Germany out without torturing him more)

Thank you for reading this!
