UKUS - wildfires give him a fever

This request is basically asking for America to get a really, really bad fever from all of the wildfires in his country in previous summers, with England caring for him.

Preferrably fluffy, and nothing sexual please.

Bonus: The fever is all over, but partially concentrated to one part of his body, wherever the state that's getting burnt the worst would be on him physically.

It had already lasted a week.

A week of being unable to think straight, unable to relax, unable to get anything done, unable to sleep without a panicky, chaotic dream. America had felt like the embodiment of the Sahara for the past seven-now seven and a half-days. And all because of the California wildfires.

It was one thing to be down for a few days, but this time there was no end in sight. Firefighters and ordinary citizens alike were being lost to the flames, and there were thousands upon thousands of dollars in property damage. That alone would have made him feel like death, but combined with the heat itself-licking up and down his spine, licking at the small of his back-he looked like death, too

I really like this A!a. I love protective/motherly-England. And the way you described the fever was quite good.

Just one thing. Not sure if it was just a slip or something, but the property damage from any kind of out of control wildfire, let alone the California fires would be more than hundreds or thousands, or even hundreds of thousands.

Thanks! And I noticed that error right after I posted this. The original version had "hundreds of thousands" of dollars in property damage, but unfortunately when I was cutting down on the word-count, I accidentally deleted "of thousands" instead of "hundreds of". Sorry about that.
