Turkey/Japan/Greece: Auspisticism anonymous December 6 2012, 22:02:06 UTC
In Homestuck, an auspisticism (or ashen romance) involves three individuals, two of which have a very turbulent relationship while the third, the auspistice, must mediate. So I'd like a fic where Japan auspisticizes for Turkey and Greece, whether it's calmly talking them down during an argument, breaking up a physical fight, or just smacking the pair of them on the back of the head when they get ridiculous.

Bonus: Later Japan bitches about how hard it is to deal with these two to America, maybe with hints of moirallegiance between them.

Can Turkey ad Greece also be having a blackrom?

If you can make it work, seeing as part of the point of an auspisticism is to prevent a blackrom.

Does OP want specific references to these types of relationships, as if they exist in Hetalia the same way they do in Homestuck, or simply a fic that depicts them in this sort of relationship, without necessarily using those names?

It doesn't matter to me, if you can make it work without actually calling it pale/ashen/caliginous/whatever, then that's fine.

Romance is complex.
The problem is that whenever the subject of romance is broached it seems most people only assume there is only one type, the romance which spans a wide range of emotions, social conventions and… ‘Implications for reproduction’.

There is a single symbol which we associate with roomace:

They were suddenly shocked when they both felt quick, strong and precise knocks on the crown of their heads and then both drawn up from the floor by the small and deceptively strong hands of Japan, pulled roughly apart from each other and held just far enough apart that they couldn’t do much, if any damage, to one another ( ... )

Meanwhile, having successfully carried out the x2 transition combo, Japan had been bitching all about this to America, using a wide range of expressions as he explained all of the above, including the part about relationships ( ... )

I like how you included their background histories and homestuck mythos in the whole fic. I laughed, too. Good job!

Lovely! Hetastuck is fucking amazing!

So I'm guessing this Andy here is actually Andrew Hussie? I was so giddy to realize Alfred was the one who gave Andrew the idea for the quadrants! Don't mind me; I'm just gonna go cry tears of joy into my pillow. *absconds*

Correctomundo compadre. I don't know if the op knew this but Andrew lives in USA so when I found that out I just had to add that in.
