This was written for the “Masochistic-Canada” request on Kink_Meme #1, but I never finished it, and dropped it when Kink_meme #2 came along. However, this request fit the story so perfectly that I decided to post what I’ve done anyhow!
This fanfic is based off of an incident in the 1950’s: Where Canada’s future Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau was arrested during a tour of the USSR for tossing snowballs at a Stalin statue. Matthew shifted nervously, changing the pressure on his feet as he quietly stood in the large, lavishly decorated room of Ivan’s house. He nervously noticed that many restraining objects blended in with the klutter of Russian ornaments left around. I enjoyed it very much. I think they are both very in character (if we consider this a sub!Matthew version of Canada.) It's also very hot that both of them are getting into the roleplay (it did turn into a roleplay half way,) and getting off of it. I'm not too familiar with this pairing, that's why I think you did a good job making me believe it. And it helps that it's based on a real incident.

I think it's very good so far, anon! As mentioned before, the characterization is very good... as IC as one can be in that situation. If you do plan on continuing this, I look forward to it. <3

I think you've done a really great job overall. The characterisations are really good, and you've expressed Ivan's psychology really well.
A bit of concrit (since you asked)
Matt, although he has submissive/masochistic tendencies in this fic, is in a very real position of fear and panic induction. What his running though his mind was really believable until pat 3, where his 'submissiveness' seemed to play out like somebody being submissive in a conceptual sex scene between two trusting partners. That is to say, he doesn't seem very frightened or forced against his will anymore. It's still written nicely, but it doesn't seem to fit.
