A drunk England making his move on an obliviously dense America, whether at a bar or one of their homes. Anon has a mission that anon can run wildly with. :3
Because there isn't enough of Arthur topping an older Alfred. >:
Fail premise is fail. And no actual good!pron. I am sorry, OP. Also I have nothing against American culture or British accents or Twilight fans. /disclaimer
This has got to be the best idea he’s had in months. And that’s pretty amazing, ‘cause he’s always having awesome ideas (even if no one except Japan ever seems to agree with them).
England is groaning on his left, staring blearily at the TV screen for a few seconds before closing his eyes and taking a long, long swig of beer.
Seriously. Getting England over to watch the Twilight movie with him? Awesome idea. England should feel privileged, getting to watch it early. It would educate him in the American culture. He was always going on about how America didn’t have any. This’d show him.
That, and if it got scary (it was a vampire movie, after all) England would be staying over so America could stay with him in case, uh, England got scared. Yeah

Ahahahahaha. Although the idea of Alfred enjoying twilight - with the amount of hate for it, I imagine him being torn, heh. But more than that, I love the way he's all duuur whut when Arthur is trying to molest him. Not that I'd blame Arthur
Premise is not fail, fill is not fail, hope to read more~
I thought of it more as Alfred being all, "LOOK we have a something rivalling your Harry Potter thing for popularity world-wide! And it's a book, so it's cultural!" ^^; I don't blame Arthur either
America’s thought processes stop for a few seconds, and then start whirring at a crazy speed to try and keep up with this insanity. Okay, so he and England have always been kind of special to each other, and yeah, he might have kind of maybe thought about it a few times - but only a few! - on lonely dark nights, but - he’d always thought - well, England was so proper, such an uptight bastard with a stick shoved way too far up his arse. Apparently all he’d needed was a little romantic prompting from one of the most romantic (American, fuck yeah!) films out there. Who knew

OMG. Anon, this is just BRILLIANT. I love how oblivious America is and that he's so sure that he practically seduced England with Twilight XDDDDD Oh the crack it gave me!
(And I sooo agree with Alfred. The baseball scene was the only reason I didn't regret watching the movie XDDD)

America did not do subtle. America was a land of dramatic landscaping: towering mountains; endless, rolling grasslands; Grand Canyons; that weird southern desert of his that looked like a cartoon really....America had grown up in such surroundings that had done nothing to teach him about subtlety. His people were not subtle either. They sought the heights and the lights, the bright and the brilliant and the blazing. They built cities that trumpeted their presence, reached for the sky and scraped it with glass towers and winged airships. His people were not harmonious, not delicate, defying nature, their rulers, and even each other in frantic chase of rose-colored dreams - racing each other in the pursuit of happiness. And for both good and ill - in spite of it, perhaps - America loved them, _was_ them

It had been a particularly bad session. America was getting a lot of flak - the situation in the Middle East, the environment, the financial mess. England had impressed even France and Germany with his extended and inspired litany of America's faults, including his taste in food and his barbarous habits, what could be done to correct them, and why America was failing to correct his failures. It wasn't exactly unwarranted, and Alfred's bored dismissal of England's advice only prompted further shouting - but as Matthew's eyes darted around the room, looking for something to distract him (he hated confrontation like this, especially between two Nations he loved) his blue eyes by accident more than anything fell upon the pair that mirrored his own in shape and color - and found a flash of real hurt in them. He sat up in surprise, staring at his brother's face
