One day all the nation-tans wake up and they're all completely human for a year. It's as if nation-tans never existed (aka real life), they're the only ones who remember who and what they used to be. (In otherwords, trying to contact former bosses might be a bad idea.) Mortality during this period of time is permanent, if they die, a new nation-tan will take their place when the year is out. So during this time, what do they choose to do with their lives now that they are simply human and nothing more? How will they adjust when the year is up?
No Promises.

This sounds like an excellent RP scenario, actually... anyway, shall give it a little whack and try to come back every once in awhile.
1. Russia
The first thing he noticed when he woke was that he was warm. When he reached out for the familiar cold, for his Sibir, the frigid lands of the north that no one else wanted, that made him as big and as rich as he was, it wasn't there. That was enough to send him stumbling out of bed. He reached out, or tried to, but he could sense nothing. Even the ground beneath his feet felt foreign, as if it was no longer a part of him. What happened?! Was he invaded while he slept? But he would have felt it if it had been an invasion big enough to seperate him from the lands and he felt...
Nothing.
Warm.
Scared.
So warm.
He fumbled with his boots, his gloves, his scarf. He needed... he needed to go outside. It was irrational to think that the lands would just disppear around the house, but it was also impossible to imagine that there could ever be a day when he simply couldn't feel his lands or

2. China
He had to run to get his cellphone, leaving behind a pot of water he hoped wouldn't boil over in the meantime. Ordinarily, if it had been his house, and if no one was there to see him, he could have just relocated himself without even thinking, but now, he had to run.
He'd called Japan earlier that day, because Japan was further east that he was, and would presumably have awakened first to... this. The man had refused to talk to him at first, before asking, in a voice he'd forgotten Japan could ever have had, frightened, whether he had ever experienced something like this before

I wonder if some of them might actually be happy. Think about it you've lived your entire life with your personality and thoughts being dictated by the people and now you are you and you alone. You could really feel love, hate, pain and pleasure and it would be yours and yours alone.

I wanted to tell you my house is so warm now and you can come visit
Adorable. Drunk and scared, but adorable all the same. So much great characterization here, especially China, taking it in stride, lying to Japan about feeling fine and pointing the finger at Korea. Love it.
Of course he didn't believe China when the man claimed that he had been invaded by Korea. China frequently lied. Even if you gave him the benefit of the doubt, that he was simply being lied to by his government, what came out of his mouth were still lies. So he had to check.
Simply appearing to his boss was no longer possible in the state he was in, so he decided that he would just take a little trip. He'd checked his belongings after acertaining that he wasn't dreaming and that this was not a temporary state, and found that he still had all of his personal belongings and something else that he didn't remember ever having. A passport, bearing his photo and the name 'Honda Kiku'.
Keeping it with him, just in case this was something planned by his beloved government, he scraped together a couple of thousand yen and left the house, noting on the way out that his door now also read 'Honda' instead of 'Nihon'. It bothered him almost as much as the sensation of utter disconnect from the land, though he

Oh ho ho! How unexpected -- that Japan would get the 'mentally disturbed' sticker before Russia! Very interesting so far, anon. I had been wondering about the passports/I.D. thing.
