Hopefully something kinda-sorta what OP wanted. I love superstition in general, and Japanese superstition always gives me shivers, but I couldn't pull off the pairings (fourings?) the OP wanted. Hope this will do instead.
HOLY FUCKING WIN!!!

OMG anon. I ship these three so hard, and there isn't enough, and then you write
THIS SPECTACULAR THING FLAILSQUEE I LOVE YOU!!!
Every thread was woven together so perfectly, the subtle history and the smokin' smut and the sheer chill-inducing reflections on superstition, all foreboding and ominous and we know what happens. It flowed so beautifully together, perfectly meshed, and also
HOT HOT HOT SIZZLING HOT
and they were so IC, with Italy trilling and nuzzling and being affectionate, and Japan fierce and reserved, and Germany needy but stoic
AND ALSO DID I MENTION RIDICULOUSLY HOT??? (Especially that position, OMG YES DO WANT BEST SANDWICH EVER, but also the way you described it, the sensual touches, the sounds and sensations, fuck so awesome.)

T-thank you! Your comment has pleased the writer to the point of blushing! :D
I agree, best sandwich ever ... need to find an artistanon to draw this, because I couldn't draw my way out of a paper bag. *laughs* I'm so glad you liked it!
*sneaks your comment away to nibble because it's so sweet* *^_^*

THIS IS AMAZING. YOU ARE AMAZING!
asdgahsgfaksdf! Japan topping Germany topping Italy - but as close as they are, Japan is ultimately apart from them, removed and observant. So dreamy and heavy and hot and chilling - how'd you even DO that!? Goddamn. So unexpected (didn't anyone would fill that prompt after so long), but I loved it!
Also: Don't worry about the pairings/characters in the request not being in the fill, I just picked out the four tetraphobic nations mentioned in the wikipedia article, I was just eager to see what could come out of this particular superstition. You did good ♥

Four has always meant misfortune, meant death.
Vier, in Ludwig's heavy, clipped language.
Quattro, in Feliciano's lilting, musical tongue.
Four.
Shi.Death ( ... )

I'm new to Hetalia, didn't realize how long ago your prompt was posted. WHY DIDN'T SOMEONE ELSE WRITE IT it's such a good prompt!
