In some ways, this almost felt wrong. America wasn’t a child anymore by any means, but he was still very young. He hadn’t even been a country for 30 years yet, and compared to France’s existence that amount of time passed in the blink of an eye. There was quite an age gap, and even though they were both consenting adults, it almost made France feel a little skeevy.
