For a moment they were just rolling back and forth, partly wrestling and partly just trying to figure out which limbs belonged to who. During that struggle, somehow, the Brit’s hands found a way to worm under the younger one’s shirt, making Alfred wince unknowingly.

Both men stopped dead: Alfred with eyes wide, cheeks flushed from the fight, breath coming out in shallow gasps; Arthur completely paralyzed, feeling the heat creeping up his cheeks and ears, his heart pounding viciously but still unable to remove his palms from the soft surface of Alfred’s stomach.

“Oink?” was all Alfred could muster at the moment, and it felt almost wrong how innocent and child-like it made him look. So much in fact that the other man couldn’t hold back a short bark of laughter. Then he became aware of that odd spark in the blue eyes and suddenly felt his mouth run dry

“Iggy..! I thought we were over that bit already”, Alfred let out a pained sigh.

“No, I am not”, the Brit replied in a chilly tone and crossed his arms over his chest, “And I won’t be, as long as you fail to offer a reasonable compensation.”

“I told you I could give you, say... Ten bucks?”

“As if! The pig was worth at least ten times more!”

“Sure it did - especially fully loaded on my potatoes!”

“It should be of your concern to keep your potatoes out of my pig!”

It was really unfortunate they both failed to notice Ludwig’s grip on his quill tighten to the point of almost snapping it in two.

“VERDAMMTER MIST! SCHNAUZE HALTEN, IHR BEIDE!”, he slammed the quill against the map and in one sharp movement that almost tore the parchment in two, smeared a crimson line along one of the straits.

“This is the new border from now on. Your objections are not taken into consideration”, he fixed the already protesting Brit with a sharp glare, “Now, leave - I have work to do
