The rustle of newspapers pages being turned, the clinks of cutlery. Matthew's form was hidden behind the paper and Ivan was eating his toast. Suddenly he spoke.

"Are you alright, Matthew?" Concern in his voice.

Surprised, Matthew looked up from the top of the paper. "Ah yes, I'm okay. Why would you ask that?"

Ivan put down the toast that he was halfway easting on his plate. "You cam to my room last night. Were you scared? You should wake me up next time." Smile as bright as the morning sun, warm and truly loving.

He couldn't contain it anymore. Tears rolling down his cheeks, one drop, two drops. Falling into his glass of milk. Matthew's shoulders shook as he tried to reply anything, just say anything. Form still hidden behind the newspaper.

THAT WAS REALLY REALLY CUTE! Especially the ending-Daaaaaw~

Don't be ashamed Anon!Writer! It was really cute and although there are afew grammer mistakes that you should watch out for next time, it was a good story!
Also, I now have a severe craving for Russia/Canada cuddling. *prefers cute stuff over smut most of the time anyways*

OH GOD MATTHEW I NEED TO HUG YOU NOW FOR BEING SO VERY VERY VERY CUDDLY, ADORABLE AND VULNERABLE!
Don't be sad Author. The cuteness in this fic brightened my day significantly!
(Also because it didn't contain sadistic, cruel Ivan. Nothing wrong with that side necessarily, but child!side Ivan/Matthew is good too)
