Japan/China is my guilty ship. orz I'm glad you thought it was okay! I was worried I'd be completely OOC with both of them, especially since what we've mostly seen of China in canon is relatively facetious and of Japan, well.

It is my firm conviction that if you're being historically accurate, you're following the superior canon and needn't worry about contradicting Hetalia a little.
I didn't find it OOC, anyway.
