anon here with future!fic. If it's weird, anon writer was thinking of how the nations would become less distinct as globalization progressed, and how it would alter the US/UK dynamic.

It’s something about the way Arthur moves; the way he lays kisses along Alfred’s jaw, hands curled in the bed sheets as he straddles the younger man. Slow but willing, mouths meeting and skin brushing as their bodies slide together. The world is changing around them. Each year, they grow a little less distinct, a little less them, until they realize that they’ve taken their shared past for granted. And so they reminisce, curl together and bond over things that once drove them apart

“What are you thinking about?” Alfred manages to gasp, and there’s the Arthur he remembers, flushed and indignant, eyes thoughtful as they study the bedding. “Iggy,” he prods, again and again, until Arthur sighs - half annoyed, half gone.

“About you”, he resigns, ignoring Alfred’s smirk as he brushes aside the American’s hand with his own. Fingers slip backward; Alfred arches slightly as one probes into his body and curls in the tight heat. “Always so demanding, driving me crazy”, Arthur adds, surprisingly articulate as Alfred presses up into his touch. “You do drive me crazy,” he repeats for good measure

OMG I NEVER THOUGHT ANYONE WOULD FILL THIS.

This is fantastic; even before Alfred actually says, "I love you," the affection between the two of them is obvious. Seeing the two of them take their time like this pushes all my buttons. :D

The sentimentality of this just kills me and added with the sheer hotness of the their easy intimacy it's absolutely beautiful! I love this pairing and anon writer's like you make me positively giddy for them! ♥!!
