((Okay, so this is for all you anons who have played Cranium and gotten the Flying Buttresses card and not know that the flying fuck that was! And of course, this is for the OP, because really, really, this was a hell of a fun prompt!! Really hope you like!))

America looked at him meaningfully, his blue eyes widened expectantly behind his glasses and England felt the sudden urge to smack him upside the head.

Alfred gave a strangled cry of impatience, tapping the paper in front of him anxiously and England felt his temper snap. "Yes, Alfred! I can bloody well see that those are wings but what in the bleeding hell are you trying to tell me!"

Across the table Francis was laughing into his hand while even Matthew looked like they are both on the, how appropriate, butt end of a joke.

England hated them both. He also wanted to strangle America for just being a bloody stupid idiot.

"Oh, zut alors! Look at that, time is up!" Francis sang, his voice heavy with ( ... )

Alfred however, who had begun to flush slowly at the awareness of his own ignorance, seized the opportunity to divert the attention from himself (for once) and snapped his glare from England to land across the table on Canada, seated beside France.

"You're the one who said this would be fun, idiot! Now look what you've done!"

Matthew looked surprised at first before he scowled and threw up his arms. "Oh, yeah! That's right! Blame Canada! Old tune, eh! I hate you guys!" he said loudly, getting up from the table abruptly, ignoring Francis' arm on his in an attempt to calm him, and storm off.

Francis sighed, rising from his seat. "You are both idiots,” he said simply. “Maintenant, excusez-moi, I'm just going to go," (A decidedly French smirk blossomed across his lips) "Make poor Mathieu feel better ( ... )
